Has anyone found who was stealing the stone? I feel like there’s more to this but I don’t have any quest markers for it.
I don’t think so. However I would guess it was the assistant master builder.
why else would he want to kill the demon head witness.
Another poorly ended quest.
The whole quest is just crap, and full of plot holes. It is the builder’s assistant Zmola, but you never find out how he is doing it, or where he is getting the crappy stone from. If you manage to catch him, before the guards kill him, he just basically says he is doing it because he hates his job, hates the master builder, and wants money.
It is just one of the worst written and executed quests in the game. It just feels half finished.
