Terrible Console Performance

What do you mean by that?

It’s literally the first bullet point and therefore expectation for KCD in PSN:

Huge realistic open world: Majestic castles, vast fields, all in stunning high-end graphics (emphasis added)

It simply means that most people probably bought the game for its gameplay features instead of purely based on how the game looks.

Are you Kirksty?

As far as your point, I’m not aware of any game that’s bought purely based on how the game looks. So it’s not a meaningful distinction

Exactly. Looks like some people are able to read

No, but I was just trying to explain what he probably meant. That’s all.

Sorry dude. You’ll find it’s a crime here to not disagree with everything I say.

How would that sell the game exactly as graphics only? That’s just promoting the game with buzzwords. If you just bought it for the graphics based on that then I’m baffled.

No game is sold for graphics only so it’s a meaningless point

So your point is meaningless? Then we agree.

Kirksty, please play nice with the other gamers…

No one ever buys a game solely for graphical reasons, I guess. But of course graphical glitches and bugs like clippings and poppins is a problem that should be highlighted since it destroys many ways to play the game.

On the other hand, I would not care if the game was rendered in 720p or whatever and I do not care about fancy shadows and such. But the poppins, clippings of armour parts and the absence of blood and dirt on armour and clothes are a disturbing bug on the PS4 and PS4-pro.

No bs here I 100% bought the game based on how it looked on a stream I watched. Unfortunately the stream was on a mega high end pc…So little disappointed when I fired it up on ps4 lol at least the game play made up for it lol

Yeah, I don’t believe you bought an RPG with no intention of playing… just intended to look at the graphics

Graphics can weigh heavily on product choice. WH knew this when it selected CryEngine and that expectation is its maiden product’s first selling point.

And Crawley, I am sure you still enjoyed the graphics in 1.5? I sure did even though it was in no way close to PC but still beautiful on my PS4-pro. That was until the 1.6 destroyer update killed the graphics with bugs.

I promise you now it’s the truth. I had heard and saw the Kickstarter for kcd but thought nothing more about it, then on twitch 1 day I saw this stunning games being played by a fav streamer and bought it as soon as I saw it was also on ps4. It was only after I bought it I found out it was the same game. I mean this game on a mega high end pc is breath taking. And I had every intention of playing it

1.5 was pretty stable and to be honest 1.6 hasn’t done to badly just a small backstep

Indeed! Kirksty needs to relax and just accept that the world do not rotate around him as a center. So the following is to Kirksty, you seem like a passionate player to say the least. You love KCD and you take time to be here on the forum, all these things are good and you could have many friends here if you just relaxed a little and accepted that we are all fans of this game and enjoys many different aspects of KCD.

That’s funny. Of course no one cares about the game concepts and story eh?

Good news is that WH acknowledges the importance of graphics for its consumers (including PS4 users) and has notified me that improvements are to be had in the next patch
