I just wanted to make a post thanking the company for making this game. I’m having a blast and, personally, I have been waiting for a realistic, historically accurate medieval game and this delivers. There are a lot of complaints on bugs and save mechanics and what not but I like it and want to remind people that this game is not even a month out of release and is the first project from this company. This game was funded from kickstarter and finally got a backer but only cost around $5mil compared to games like is running $75-$85mil so lets just take that in and appreciate what we have. Things will get better, updates will come out, modding will most likely be featured and our support will help make better titles. Dont get caught up in small things, this game is great
Totally this!
I’m just over 100hrs into the game and I love it.
I cannot wait for more content down the line.
exactly. the lynch mobs just need to calm down. i feel like a lot of people picked this game up not knowing exactly what it entailed and how hard it was going to be
I just can’t avoid this game in this state, and aswell i can’t wait til leverything is fixed. So what should I do ? I want to play full stable release I have to pretend it’s still not released.
i havnt had much issues. fighting has been frustrating at times, one times Hans was walking into a wall and i was supposed to follow him. I bought a bed and could not walk through the door way. but none the less it looks pretty good ( or so far, i havnt downloaded the dreaded patch yet), the story is compelling, i like the combat(even when it gets clunky) and im looking forward to more fixes and more dlc/games. I just wish the mob would either lay off or get their refund.
what kind of issues are you experiencing? i play on xbox one and havnt had any corrupt files or gamebreaking glitches that i am aware of
Agreed. Despite a few things I don’t like about the game, overall it’s a solid and fun piece of work. Enjoying it a ton and hope they continue their work with it in the future.
This game is like a flawed diamond : imperfect yet, but will eventually shine brighter than any other.
I’m especially baffled by the beautiful, historical and somehow accurate (as far as we know / imagine of course) setting, beautifully handcrafted world (villages with familiar style yet all different and unique, amazing landscapes and breathtaking forest vegetation), total freedom of action and movement (like I really loved in TW3 for example), and incomplete but believable living animals and people.
It will need a handful of polish/additions before being the game of our dreams, but still it’s too beautifully made, with compelling and original stories (main AND side quests, wich is rare nowadays), to resist enjoying this jewel.
And to think about the “few” resources (people, money and time) this piece of art took is mindblowing.
All criticism should not ever be as salty I see here and there in forums. Some may have blocking bugs, or feel disappointed by some aspects of the game yet, but let’s rationalize a bit and if you can’t fully enjoy the experience yet, wait for WH to fix and refine their baby until you can…
Got to agree with all above posts. This game is going to be a work of art. Just have to give Warhorse the time needed to fix bugs, crashes and improve certain things with future patches.
Yeah nice one Warhorse. Enjoying your great game (though looking forward to patches & any dlc )
I have to agree with all of the above, great work guys. Mostly people having problems come here on this forum, so do not be discouraged by the negativity. There is a lot of people praising the game IRL. When the bugs, ai and economics are ironed out, it will be a real gem. Even with bugs, it is one of the best RPGs I have ever played.
Number one I’d like to see fixed or improved is A.I pathing, hate when NPC’s walk through each other or not walls same with horses, I expect that to happen very rarely not all the time. Apart from that and quests bugs though I’ve not had any I’ve seen a few peeps have. Performance can allways get better.
Thank you. I have the ps4 version. In my opinion it is hands down the best RPG in the last two generations of consoles, bugs and all. If you ever release a collectors version with all the patches on disc, in a nice tin, I will buy it. That said, I’m looking forward to where you are going with Henry’s story. I’ve played through the game twice and I still feel like I’m just beginning to get to know the beautiful country side that you have created. I hope to return to it with more adventures.
