So, since this quest fucks you over by taking all your loot and that I have spent a shit ton of time making sure I had the best (or nearly the best) gear in the game, I was so pissed I was losing it all (I don’t know what kind of a joke that is), that I reloaded my game so that I could stash it in my chest first.

However, when dueling with the trainer to prove you can fight, he says that you can “borrow a sword over there”. Where the hell is over there?!?! I’ve been running around the game for 1 hour looking for one?!?

Well I don’t know where the sword is. However you can get your stuff back it’s in a locked chest in eriks House. There is a key on his desk.

You can stash some lock picks in a chest in the building next to eriks house. I put all of my stuff in the chest before they captured me.

You can then lock pick eriks house and get the key off his desk and get your things. I needed to get my keys back. However if you plan to lock pick the chest behind Erik’s do it before you are captured. There are two chest one with your stuff infront of the desk and one behind the desk. The chest behind Erik disappears and he doesn’t seem to mind you picking it and taking the stuff. It’s the chest behind Erik just crouch while doing it.
