Ever since the latest patch, the performance of the game really went downhill. And that’s an understatement of the year. Now it has come to the point where it crashes after I interrogate the Merhojed bandit, but also when I try to sleep in my Rattay house, when I try to leave the house or try to do pretty much anything. I love the game and I’d like to play it to the end, but some sort of consistent and stable fix really needs to be implemented as soon as possible. I can see people quitting the game over this. I can’t remember ever seeing this many technical issues with a game of this caliber before, and I’d be hard pressed to think of any game in general which got so bad that you couldn’t actually progress in it.

Welcome to the love-hate relationship that is Kingdom Come welcome to your heart fluttering with hopeful beats everytime they talk about a new patch and you hope and pray that it fixes the game it might be me being ignorantly optimistic again and I hate that too because that’s the kind part of me when people deserve the shity part either way the way they’re dealing with the new patch that’s coming out the manner in which they’re dealing with it how they are talking about how they are not rushing it and it should be really soon actually has me believing that they may have got a real experienced person and to fix the issue because I swear to God I feel like it’s a greenhorn he’s been fixing these patches lately I don’t there’s no f****** way the person that made this magnificent game is getting their ass kicked this bad when it comes to this job of fixing and patching and making the game functional forget about enhancements I mean these people are fixing one problem and not checking for anything else not considering everything else in the game I just I refuse to believe that the people that made this game or that f****** incompetent they should know every nook and cranny of code in this game it just their actions really give me the impression that they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing I literally feel like I’m back in my trade again within greenhorn whose claim to have had 10 years of experience but doesn’t know what a f****** pair of pliers are either way I get the feeling that this new patch might actually be something to hope for and the reason I say that is they’re aware of how things are and I just get the feeling that this new patch will solve more than it breaks but only time will tell I’ve restarted the game for the 8th time out of Hope I swear to God if I don’t get this right this time as much as I hate to say it even though I followed them for years and waited for this game like a real Fanboy f** I am literally going to take this f****** game on my Xbox and take my shotgun and blow it the f****** and I’m going to send this video to everybody in their f****** team so they can understand how much of a f****** they are I hate to say that though because there’s a part of me regardless just wants them to do well first of all their white which is super awesome but that only goes so far it’s not white to tell somebody you have a game and hey them AAA price for a f****** game and then find out the things of botched f****** mess however when I first got the game whatever they did when I first got the game it was at least playable and I was happy with that believe it or not although the enhancements that came later are f****** amazing I hope they can make it work
Now moving on another interesting thing on my eighth playthrough I’m not continuing on with the storyline I’m just doing my own thing and hopes that is I get more game time instead of wondering around on these missions and wasting time I’m making the most of it by just leveling up and doing something every second of the day and I’m staying close by so I don’t have a lot of travel time because as we all know the longer you’re in this game for me it’s the 27th hour in the game that it all goes to s*** around the 20th hour you start to see real bad symptoms of stutter as far as missions are concerned I don’t have any Mission bugs or have not ran into any everything’s ran really well it’s just the f****** stutter that’s my problem which that’s a really big problem cuz it shuts the whole game down either way I’m hopeful again so much so that I’m playing again I hope to God they get it right I hope the God after this I can say I’m sorry to warhorse for ever doubting them I have want to be able to say that I want to say I am wrong and you guys are right and you’re awesome and thank you I want to say that so let’s hope to God they allow me to

Holy wall of text Ryksalmonson. I think you need a primer on punctuation, sentence structure and articulation.
To the OP: If you are playing on xbox, I can confirm that with the last patch the game has become quite unstable. I’ve noticed an increase in loading times and stuttering of movement.
You aren’t the first, nor, I’m afraid, will you be the last to point these things out.
However, as frustrating as it can be, we will have to wait until another patch, when the devs address these issues.
I can’t speak for the devs, nor do I have an inside track on their work, but I have seen positive results for what issues have come up, so far.
Best thing I can suggest is to take a break from the game, keep an eye on the forums for upcoming patches and hope you can get back to the game soon. It beats being frustrated with the game underperforming.

This is by far the best advice anyone can give to the whole KCD community right now. Well put. I’m going to do just that.
I was poking around a bit and think I saw something about a patch for pc next week. Might want to check into that, it might have been a tweet from one of the devs. I don’t know, it’s still too early and I haven’t had my coffee.

same here!! Play with the xbox x console, terrible…don’t play it till it’s fixed. Or get my money back…really dissapointed!

I’ve been playing for a month…this game that is “unplayable”.

I am on PC and have now played more than 30 hours. But since the last patch i cannot play anymore. The Game always crashes. I tried everything but nothing has worked. I am very frustrated.
Yeah, I have been playing it too, I have 60+ hours in the game. I’m saying that it has become unplayable since 1.4.1. patch, not that it was unplayable from day one. Ever since that patch, people have been discovering more and more game breaking bugs each day and now everything is bogged down to a halt. Hopefully, nothing that another patch won’t fix. When everything works, this is an awesome game, and I’ve been recommending it to people despite the bugs.
Little difference: PC is unplayable because of crashes. OP says it is unplayable on consoles because of performance (I am a PC player so I wouldn’t know). PC performance seems OK in 1.4.1 … until it CTDs.
