Good evening ! I’m having problems with the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance. OS Windows 10 64x. Gainward GTX 970 gb intel i7-4790k RAM 16gb. The driver version 391.01 before this was 390.77 and 388.71. The game works as badly as with previous versions of the drivers, that is, the result did not change after the updates. GeForce Experience optimizes the game under the lowest settings where FPS is 33 frames.
Unfortunately, you will just have to be a bit patient and wait for patches. A game this good, is worth waiting for those patches and then start over and enjoy a glorious adventure. It will get better!
I’m playing with my GTX 970 and driver Version 391.01 just fine…
Did the game ever worked good for you? your rig seems to be fine
I have a GTX 970 and get 60 fps all the time pretty much - on medium settings but with the textures set a bit higher.
The GTX 970 has a fatal memory flaw design that will drastically reduce performance if you begin to use the last 512MB of graphic memory. The card is sold as a 4GB graphics card but only the first 3.5GB has a large memory bandwidth. The last 512MB has a crippled bandwidth and your framerate will be ruined if the card is attempting to used greater then 3.5GB. The card has been made fun of relentlessly as it’s a serious design flaw.
This wikipedia page gives an overview of the controversy.
In short, keep your settings low enough so as not to hit the dreaded 3.5GB threshold.
Unplayable for you and I’m sorry to hear that. We PC users have a pretty fair time of it in Bohemia, steering Hank around.
Tweak your settings, as recommended.
