TBH I did not notice anything different, (I patched yesterday but only fired the game up today to look at the hair options). There is still major texture pop in especially in rattay. I’ve finished the main quest line and I think I have like one or two side quests left, but I think I got used to how the game looked and “forgave” it’s miss fallings and short comes and various bugs, I even held of playing the last Assasins creed origins dlc to finish up kingdom come. But for the last two weeks I finished up ACO dlc and then started GOD Of WAR …OMG are any of you guys playing GOW on ps4 pro??..holy moly its freakin amazing, that they got the ps4 pro to deliver those graphics…and in saying that it just shows how unpolished and horrible how KCD looks on the console.
KCD game story is good, I enjoyed it, but graphically …eeeegggh! No excuses lol when you see what the ps4 pro can pull off with GOW. Looks like any good PC title up there, sure it not native 4K, but I can get to nearly 58 fps in performance mode with booste mode enabled 1080p and it just gets better at 2160 with hi Res mode enabled at a locked 30fps.
Ok enough glorification about GOW, but I honestly did enjoy the game play of KCD, it has all the good/great RPG elements we expect and some extra bits thrown in, but my one and only major gripe with this game is that it should never have been released at the $60 Aaa price tag. It not a Aaa game. They should have sold it out at $30 and when you see what you get from GOW for the same price…I’m sorry KCD reached for the stars but fell half way down along the journey and then had the audacity to charge us full price for a half trip. I certainly hope that this has been a learning curve for them and their future endeavors prove of a far better quality.
