I’m holding out hope for a “magic patch” that will at least make the game playable. It’s no fun trying to play a game while said game fights against you.

Its playable, but also the save files are highly corruptible which is a big deal once encountered.
Yeah once you lose your saves 3-4+ times it gets irritating no matter how much you love the game.

Done that, trying to get back to where you were takes all thefun out of the game and makes it feel like a chore rather than a game.

there are a couple of quest bugs that corrupt saves but I’m having a hard time believing all your saves just corrupted randomly 3-4 times at varying points during the game.
Yes but the bugs corrupt huge portion of the save files back to 15 hours of gameplay in my case and more for other ppl, just google game load failed.
How do you people get your saves corrupted ? Got 160hrs in the game and not a single save file was corrupted on 2 playthroughs
Well we were doing it on purpose. For me I connected my ps4 to a toaster and bam its corrupted.
What do you mean how are we getting corrupted saves? Ppl are reporting corrupted saves even after 200+ hours.

If it’s a buggy game to begin with even thinking you could play it on PlayStation is dumb. Sorry M8 but those are just a garbage consoles. They always have problems with multi platform games
So instead of agreeing that the game is filled with game breaking bugs that make the game unplayable or unprogressable you are bashing my gaming preference?
corrupt saves is the worst thing that can happen… I understand if you get angry about it
but to prevent loosing so much playtime you can backup the saves either to the cloud or usb stick

No I’m not saying there aren’t game breaking bugs. There are but can be avoided/worked around. Either PlayStation’s port is considerably worse or you’ve knowingly activated the same bug 3-4 times.
Well everytime I got the bug it was related to some quest, pc users are also reporting the same issue.
For example couple of days ago I went into an archery contest, I didn’t get the board where the result shows and no other people showed for the contest, I left and after 3 hours of sleeping and saving I tried to save using the saviour Schnapps and it said I can’t save during an activity. Apparently as per the game the contest was still going and all my saves were not recorded even when I enrolled in the contest again and won and saved. But thank god it was only 3 hours.
I think for ps4 it is the worst in terms of saves, but for xbox users it is the crashes.
I’m on my second playthrough on Xbox. So not unplayable.
Good for you. It is also hard researching what things to avoid to trigger a problem without walking into a spoilers.
I know xbox automatically backs up saves to the cloud. Does ps not do that?
Not sure about it, but for psn users it does.
