It also happened to me many times riding uphill, then I was sliding about 30 seconds down, especially near Sasau or Talmberg, those hills are crazy, but I never died from fall. I even tried new hardcore with fall debuff. I barely fell 2 meters high and luckily survived with 1 HP. I was totally not ready for that.

Silly question: How did you take these 3rd person view shots?
Alt+F2 when in game opens nvidia ansel on PC.
It pauses the game and you can change the camera angle to get some nice screenshots, add filters etc.
Very practical to scout the area, like when searching for dead bodies to loot in woods.
