The Muslim Brotherhood & The World

I find the term “'muricans” extremely offensive racial slur, and would prefer if you do not use such language. The word is Americans.

They bought a bunch of American weapons a few months ago. If they can buy them, then they can also buy their guys.

@Wenceslaus Yeah, kinda stupid of me, America can actually beat every country in the world, with their weaponry.

Racial slur? For what race, if I may ask? If you’re native american, then I’m sorry.

Anyway, this is going way too off-Topic. I’m sorry if I may have upset someone with my opinion. Anyway, love you guys <3 I’ll shush now. (I’ll still support the russians/ukrainians fighting in donetsk)

I don’t know if it’s racial, but it’s definitely stereotypical. The racist side of it might come from the fact 'MURICA! tends to be brought up when it has to do with stereotyping some as inbred, dumb, white, conservative rednecks who are often pro-war, anti-socialism, lovers of Fox News, Sarah Palin, and so on and so forth.

On what grounds if I might ask?

Don’t get me wrong I am all for autonomy for a region if they so desire, but I am against foreign powers supplying weapons and soldiers further escalating the conflict causing embitterment between factions. This conflict could have ended months ago at a negotiating table. Ukraine wanted to get closer ties to the EU and Putin wouldn’t have this so he send weaponry and soldiers(debatable) in an attempt to annex part of Ukraine in violation of International law. On one hand he says he wants to help the people in Donetsk and deescalate the violence on the other hand he threatens that he can take Kiev in two weeks. He could have shown that the government of Russia was also in the 21st century and that the cold war and proxy fighting was a closed chapter. Instead he chose violence which resulted in a civil war and 196 of my countrymen and another 102 innocent tourists lying dead in a field outside Donetsk.

That is not the sign of a good leader and I hope people in Russia see this too.

Please tell me, which leader in russia was good? If you compare Putin to the other leaders “we” had he’s the best of them. (I say we, because was born in Germany but have russian roots.) Actually, I also don’t think Putin should’ve done anything, but if Ukraine joins NATO, then russia will have a enemy at it’s borders. Most media is already owned by the goverments and that amy sound paranoid, but it’ll be easy to blame russia for something and start a Invasion. I do share your opinion, don’t get me wrong, I just think Russia doesn#t deserve what the media is doing to them.

oh, why is that? (But I do agree that russia would be quite surrounded by enemies if you consider NATO an enemy for whatever reason)

What I don’t think is correct, (I don’t know how much you actually do know and what comes from TV), is that there was quite a lot action from the ‘green men’ that appeared in ukraine taking over bases and using the political instability for their gain. What happened with the actual civilians that rather want to be russian again is completely different from this case. For that, russia has actually deserved what they got. I don’t know if you have served in the military but there are very, very, very, rare occasions where you’d be allowed to remove insignia / name tags (hint: you don’t exist).

Who are the green men? Never heard of them sorry, I’ll check on them. (Alright, I checked on them, Ukraine Army and Russian Army use almost the same weaponry.)

NATO is a enemy, because NATO’s leader is Obama, and America and Russia aren’t the best friends. (Also, Russia isn’t surronded by enemys, Russia and China have quite a good trade.)

More like national stereotype; while there are connotations such as you mention, the greater stereotype is that the country is full of people who believe, feel, and think that anything that our government does has our support or that “we can do what we want because we’re America”.

All three stereotypes are woefully incorrect, but I cannot say I’m surprised that it has become popular belief in many places. (It doesn’t help that many in the states use “Murica” as a humorous reference to these stereotypes AND that some actually use them as a sign of agreement with the last of them.)

well yeah that’s true, my bad. Let’s say almost surrounded.

The ‘green men’ were russian special forces that were wearing green uniforms without any insignia (which is absolutely not ok, as combatants are required to do so). If you haven’t seen I would recommend VICE news covering that is called “Russian Roulette”, however AS ALWAYS do further research after watching, but they have been at the right places, so you can see with your own eyes.

Also this was not the first time, there are similarities in the Georgia conflict, but I’m not expanding on this one now.

I’ve used 'MURICA before, yes - but more to mock what I see as stupid Americans being stupid. There are a lot of them. America has a lot of people in it.

Not really surrounded (Only Ukraine actually), Russia also has a great support in europe. I got a ukrainian friend who supports Russia and Ukraine.

*cough* NATO *cough*

Of course they have, that was the point of saying NATO is not an ‘enemy’.

Edit:
I’m an idiot. I think if I had wrote it more carefully it would have been clear.

Absolutely correct. If Ukraine would have joined it would look differently. It makes some sense to not let that happen if you think that NATO is your enemy, doesn’t it?

Well Yeltsin was funny but probably not a good leader. I believe that kinda leaves Lenin who had good intentions, but I can see what you mean.

That’s the sort of thinking we should avoid in the 21st century. Something like 60% of their supermarket goods were imported and in turn we buy most of their oil. Things were going the good way and Russia could have strengthened ties with the West, instead he annexed part of Ukraine (I don’t see how else our media would have to report this).

I can’t help myself, but think that it is time for people like you to hand back the passport of the country which accomodated your ancestors when they were in need and head back “home” where, obviously, your heart lies. Be it Russians living in Europe and gloryfying Putin or Muslims looking up to their comrades beheading people online - you don’t like deomcracy, republic, freedoms and rights all can enjoy here? Fine, go away and pursue your idea of the right world order elsewhere.

Let’s see
Russian
English
Irish
African
Israli
French
Italian
German
Swedish
and yes
American

Are all races as people interpret the term.
That is when you are born in a country that country is then deemed your race.

No, that’s your nationality, not your race. “American” sure as hell isn’t a race.

Well then you’ll have to say the same for everything else on the list. I wonder what you call your race?

From what I was taught at school there are three races “pink”, “brown”, and “the third one”.
