This is very true. (And taking into account the hellenistic/roman attitude to same sex relationship it may be argued some forms of homosexuality were pretty common in the hellenistic world of the apostles and even Jesus himself. It is even plausible to argue Jesus might have been in fact bisexual and therefore inclined to preach universal love and mistrust/antipathy to official or organised forms of judaism. It`s of course pure speculation.)
Czechs, Estonians are roughly 80% atheist, and they seem to fair quite fine.
I am quite sure it would not take much time to google up that some of the shooters in US were actually fervent believers. I will only point out that Breivik, the most deadly shooter, albeit a European one, was and is a fervent Christian. He even went to mass right before the killings.
FYI, your defense of religion borders on masochism.
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.
leviticus 20:13
seems to be very convenient, right?
Interesting concept. Everything is made by an allmighty being, but he will forgive you if you actually happen to be different. Isnât god great.
This made me laugh. Well, itâs all up to interpretation anyways right?
Must be, I canât find evidence against it so it just has to be true.
Just out of curiosity, whatâs his argument? Any evidence or is this based on beliefs?
Consider the relaxed sexual habits of greek/hellenistic/roman world. Or his relationship to some of his beloved disciples.
Pure speculation of course.
As in my previous post, âitâs up to interpretationâ was meant to be about religion as everything is layed out as it fits. And everything radical is not a true [add belief here].
yes indeed, I will definitely do some research on this.
Now back on topic
Even though I like your enthusiasm and your effort, the line where you had just a normal conversation is long past, so I will grant you a last âshortâ and not rude statement before I will close this topic. There is no limit in Off-topics but you are all getting into a rage which doesnât belong here and I guess there are more interesting topics like the upcoming Alpha. So how about just enjoying the joy of the videogame world!
Thank you for understanding!
Freedom of opinion German style. Maybe the team should consider hiring a Community Manager from a country where the respect to basic human rights is on a higher level.
Well that is your opinion. I would say that interesting topics are decided by those who read them and comment/view. However I do agree raging needs to be cooled down. So the better solution would be to delete the off topic comments. That is my opinion. Also as @snejdarek stated. Free speech/opinion is highly valued by many of us.
Thatâs exactly what I am talking about. When did freedom of speech or the right to an opinion become the right to insult or attack each other?
Anyway I didnât judged this topic, I just pointed out that the way how you communicate isnât always appropriate. And we came to the point that we want to stop this topic which I will do now.
