Yea I try both killed and picked pocket him doesn’t work . Guess I’ll wait for mod or a patch that add the shard on the Pickman body.
Sword really isn’t great and it costs 2.1k after he forges it.
Yeah it’s got less damage and has like 10 durability compared to st georges sword at around 70 or something, not buying that one!

I need the last piece from Pickman, I did the quest where I gave him the water carrier job but I can’t find him around Rattay. Do you guys know where he hangs out?
Found hem, in the morning aroun 8 AM he walked by the sword merchant in Rattay. FYI
I just did the quest to get pickman the job of water carriering while I have the quest to get the sword pieces and I’ve spoke with pickman, he did not give me any sword piece as a reward

I just want the sword cause apparently it looks pretty cool.
But I didn’t give him the job, but you he doesn’t even have it on him if you want to pickpocket it. Lame
It is illogical to have no other means to retrieve the piece on Pickman, Warhorse Studios please do something!

Can you not get the shard from Pickman if you have him the wrong job??

So to get the shard from Pickman you have to ask him about a reward if you give him the job. Otherwise it seems you won’t get the chance to get him from him afterwards.

Yea, I am gonna reload an old save, luckily I didn’t do too much after I completed the quest where you assign jobs.
It probably isn’t worth it for the sword but I like collecting cool items. Plus not to mentions the quest can be finished.
Same here. I send him to clean sh*ts before i knew that there is some quest for holy sword parts. Will be some fix to oportunity kill or rob Pickleman and get this last piece? or we should play it whole again? When i Will have new Graphic card i will play it again, so not ig problem for me, but it would be great to get it in this save.

Guys youre saying the piece at the blacksmith in rattay is in an easy lock chest at the second floor? I only have two very hard locks, and when killing the blacksmith i got a trunk key ferom the one that did not contain the shard. The other one, always says this lock is too difficult (am on level 13 lockpicking). Is there something going on? Is it bugged? or maybe the chests are different difficulty for different players?
Juronoro, When i went to get it the chest was a very hard chest for me but luckily i had enough skill to pick the lock anyway. So i’m not sure if the chest just has different difficulties for different people or if its based on your overall progress but once you are able to pick the lock it will be in there so it’s probably not bugged or broken. an easy way to work on your lockpicking is go to any of the small towns at night and just pick the locks on all of the front doors and any chests in barns and such. That way you dont have to worry about going inside and anyone waking up and catching you. Then just do what ever during the day and when night falls again all the doors will be locked again. You will have to leave the town a ways, like go to a different town altogether, for the chests to relock though. Hope this helps!
For very hard chest you need a skill level with 15+ 
I was just dumb and was looking for it in the blacksmiths house, when in reality its in the swordshop house in the second floor! not he blacksmith house second floor. But thanks for the feedback y’all.
