Full auto permit is very difficult to get even in my country, and even then you can’t carry it for self defense. Not to mention that “be sure of your target and what is behind it” is a rule that doesn’t really go together with pray and spray tactics.
Surely you were wearing military grade body armor with plates in it right? I doubt they had anything better than police Kevlar which really only protects against a few shots from a 9 millimeter or smaller. Im pretty sure the plates in the U.S military body armor can protect up to like .308.
I wouldn’t bet on it. Quality armor is easy to buy in Europe, at least in the Czech Republic it is. Moreover the market is flooded with cheap surplus German army bulletproof vests, however considering their age I don’t know how effective they are.
Ah well they still have their legs arms and necks exposed. A shot in some of those places could disable them or kill them.
by law you business has to be registered to an address , which can either be the office or your home . in the UK that is anyway .

[/quote] its not spray and pray its instinctive shooting its the technique that is taught for room to room fighting as raising the weapon takes to long , its a tactic developed by the SAS and has been adopted by all special forces .
after a good amount of practice you get a feel of how to hold the weapon to make it hit where and of course if you have a torch fits its even easier
after 2010 all body armour is plate with kevlar yes however this particular incident happened on my first combat tour back in 2006 and the plate was stored in a pouch and you could take it out and add a better basaltic plate etc as with the side plates . anyway due to the weight of the plates and how much they restrict you in terms of movement we used to just take them out . so when i was shot i only had kevlar protecting me . so i guess i was lucky it wasnt anything with a bigger kick .
kevlar wont be in service much longer anway , they are researching a type of gel that they will fill the vest with so its light weight however when its struck by a round it turns rock solid and can stop a much higher calibre round that kevlar
the best body armour is in fact the new Russian infantry standard issue . it can take 9 yes fucking 9 rounds of 7.62 where as the standard NATO kit can take about 2 hits from 7.62 before its fucked .
sorry my mistake the new gel will be put between the layers of kevlar and will absorb the impact over a much wider area

no i would assume thats with the plates in .
This says each plate can stop up to 3 .762 rounds. Not sure if this is the NATO standard or if its unique to the United States military.

I guess they are just full of surprises. I read somewhere that the Ukraine military was very surprised at the way they fought. I guess they were expecting world war 2 style Russians shooting fuck loads of rockets then overwhelming then overwhelming you with mass amounts of men. World war 2 Russians are pretty much the imperial guard from warhammer 40k.
the ukrainains are not fighting the russian army if they were the war would have been over months ago . there may be russian special forces on the ground but not the regular army

the russian army is catching NATO up fast . their next gen kit has sent shock waves through NATO because alot of it is better than our new kit . the new MBT thats rolling out in 2016 shits all over the abrams and is up their with the challenger 2 and leopard 2 . their news jets as well are up their with ours . APC’s , AA the lot

Yeah but they have a pathetic navy. The U.S has 11 super carriers the rest of the world has like 5 carriers combined. I laughed when they sent their “fleet” of 4 warships to Australia. Im sure we will come out with something new soon enough and then China will steal it from us.
yes that is also improving . at the moment the only thing keep you above them is the navy
russia is currently planning to have 6 carrier fleets within the next 20 years . their aim is to have the second largest carrier force . and ultimately take back the title of a superpower by having a blue water navy
