I have a great respect for the troops how ever they follow orders. Obama has been firing every officer that has disagreed with him the past 8 years and replacing them with generals that would carry out his orders.

Troops historically follow what the general tells them to do. And another lovely thing. The marines were surveyed if the would shoot an American citizen or confiscate guns.
What happened there? when we were in Vietnam were quite successful military wise. After the Tet offensive the Viet cong were destroyed. But too many young men were being sent home in a box. More than expected so the public demanded we pull out. You were in Afgan tell me were the coalition forces unsuccessful fighting the Taliban? Iraq was doing just fine until we pulled out and ISIS came in. The military does not need to do mass drills in civilian populated areas.

then they should know fucking better , these exercises and extremely important , especially for the special operations units taking part that they can adjust to any threat any where , being able to do that requires them to be able to operate in a heavily populated city .

Nope all the generals Obama canned are saying it too. The exercise is useless for a conflict on foreign soil. Its clear they are practising for an event on U.S soil. Soldiers will be blending in with civilians and asking us questions about local dissidents and we are supposed to report an suspicious activity.
