China will also not challenge us directly seeing how their GOD SUPER WEAPON missile probably isn’t even a thing as of yet just a blue print.
I can’t say who the next world leader will be if the U.S loses that title but it certainly won’t be China.

[/quote] incorrect . russia would have the advantage as the majority of NATO’s forces are not from eastern europe are they ? russia would be able to take large area’s and dig in before NATO bulk arrived meaning they would have the advantage early on .

That is the problem. Russia is now on the downfall and just a step from a total free fall. Apart from oil & gas, the only things they have is army, a bit of space research, and great deal of inferiority complexes. Russians think differently than the people like you or me. Large part of the population will prefer to eat radioactive dirt as long as their nation is “great”, i.e. feared abroad. That is why people like Stalin who murdered millions upon millions of their citizens are still reveired there.
The downfall is a huge problem for Kremlin. In order to hold the status quo of power in Russia they need to have an outer enemy. Because showing muscle to enemy is the only thing they can be successful at, while their country crumbles.
Hitler’s Germany was about to undergo economic collapse had he not started the war. I am only afraid that Putin may see some kind of conflict - not an open NATO war - as the way out too.
Finland and Sweden are currently shitting their pants and kicking their own asses for not being in NATO, even though EU membership gives them some security still.
Meanwhile the 3 Baltic states are clearly the first on the line. The fact is that Russia can use the methods they did in Ukraine and see what happens. Kremlin will never look bad because they either loose and will keep saying they were never there, or they gain something and then can enjoy even larger popularity.
A security conference is underway in Prague now. According to Petr Pavel who will be actually the chief of military staff in NATO for the next 3 years (the highest military position in NATO and second highest after the secretary general held by a civilian) in case of open invasion Russia would have all 3 Baltic states under control within 48 hours and there is currently no way NATO can prevent it unless we see it coming (which we won’t). Russia can always pull the March 1939 Hitler invasion of Czechoslovakia to wait and see (UK and France promised Czechoslovakia security assurances when they forced surrender to border areas without war in 1938 but then failed to deliver when the rest of the country was seized).
The only difference is that we know now that after March 1939 in Czechoslovakia, September 1939 followed in Poland.

500,000 conscripts who are poorly equipped. Russia has always favored Quantity over quality. Not to mention how are they going to pay for such an invasion? Like mentioned above their economy is the size of California.

i have never said i agree with russia’s plans for ukraine or any of their ideals i have only ever maintained that we have had a hand in causing this and that we are not ones to talk as what russia is doing is supporting their interests . as we have done in iraq , Afghanistan and countless other nations down history .
so i dont see russia as any more of a threat to world peace than we are .

did you ever serve in the cezch army ? as you only abolished conscription in 2004 according to wiki (no idea how old you are )
2004 is the year I entered University. So no.
After 1998 it became clear that the army will be professionalized so the conscription service became farce anyways.
I have been thinking lately about joining the reserve force, though. It seems that these guys have just the right amount of fun.
