Ohh yes . One in my porch . One down the ally from my side gate and then one above my back door . If ou tried getting in the back you would have to set them all off
Could you put a razor wire on selected places or would that be legally problematic in UK? (e.g. side gate, rear fence)
I wanted to put it on my balcony but my GF was afraid she would cut herself
Yea that would be perfectly legal . But my area is pretty good so don’t feel the need .
I started carrying a knife a few weeks ago after a mugging incident .
since then my mugging attempts have been a lot more successful
Londoners dont always communicate with each other . but when we do …
fucking hell the last train home on a friday night are always fucked
Or if someone had a sword. Or a crossbow. If I’m ever in London i’ll swing by your place at night with a shotty
I see you are getting some cultural habits from fellow Polish immigrants
We have all night tram service on the ground so the last train in metro doesn’t really cut it here
Ah big city problems. Where i live people pay 50 a pop to ride the train for fun
crossbow yes . sword id be confident in taking because you need a decent swing

[/quote] doesnt cut it here for most either . most end up on night buses . or paying like £80 for a black cab home from central london.
they’re trying to make the underground 24 hours in some areas but the drivers are not having it . already had one major strike over it .
they cant do it all 24 hours though because its a very old system , tunnels etc they need constant maintenance , which is done every night when its shut
surprise surprise . guess who gets violent
Not really. The US military was handily trouncing the Viet Cong, check the statistics. The Viet Cong were getting slaughtered. The US just pulled out because of pussy libtards like yourself who were crying their eyes out about it.
This comment made me chuckle.
It’s not about the statistical prevalence, but about what kind of losses you can afford.
Ask the Germans.
The fuck is this? http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/brit-tears-facing-12-years-6155729
Can I watch it online somewhere? Because the article makes no fucking sense, apart from the fact that the Czech Republic is apparently third world shithole where innocent people go to get tortured, raped and killed, not necessarily in that order.
Those who break the law overseas face potentially lethal consequences – nightmare ‘living hell’ conditions, disease, abuse, terror…and sometimes even death.
Ah, I see.
Any relief he felt was temporary, though, because he was later told that he was going to be extradited back to Prague to face charges. Mr MacDonald spent a lot of energy fighting the extradition but
oddly, most of it was focused on finding the detective who’d told him the case had been dropped. This wasn’t straightforward because as Mr MacDonald said he’d forgotten the detective’s name
The former William de Ferrers pupil was challenging his extradition on two counts - firstly that his extradition would break abuse of process by Czech courts, and secondly on mental health grounds. The
court also heard on Friday last week that Macdonald had been suffering from post-traumatic stress and ‘suicidal thoughts’ after his spent two days in custody back in 2009.
I have a great respect for the British judiciary if having psychological issues with going to prison can keep a man out of prison.
Intent on remembering the mysterious detective’s name (and avoiding a decade banged up abroad) Dan even attended hypnotherapy sessions… to no avail.
We could easily afford those loses. 50,000 is that many consider how long we were in that war for. The war just happened to take place in one of the shittiest generations in U.S history. Add to the fact that the media filmed everything. War was no longer something happening in the distant country for the U.S, they saw the horrors every day on the news in color.
People don’t realize Vietnam was a political failure. It wasn’t popular enough to continue, Gurrila enemies are the toughest to fight, it took us 13 years to defeat the Viet cong but we pulled out shortly after that.
I didn’t mean physically afford, I meant in the general scheme of things. You could not have afforded them politically because they were socially unacceptable and that is why you lost the war.
Yeah as i said, military wasn’t an issue. After the Tet offensive the Viet cong were crippled and the NVA was in no position to make a large scale offensive after that. But the fucking media had been saying the Viet cong were unable to make such a large offensive. So instead of talking about how much of a crushing victory the Tet offensive was for the U.S and the south, all they talked about was how the Viet cong were much more organized than they thought.
It was the final straw, people already hated the war. Imagine how different things would have been if the 60s generation had been as supportive as the WW2 generation.
That is quite different. You joined in on a proxy war with Soviets. US was under no direct threat from either Soviets and definitely under no threat by Vietnamese. Meanwhile Nazis and especially Japs were clear threat to US very existence.
Every nation that turned communist was a threat to the U.S as the time. The 60s generation was by far one of the worst in U.S history. Spitting on soldiers returning from the war, skipping the draft, bombing government buildings. All disgraceful behavior, too many idiots from my generation think those people were cool.
Nazis, not really. Japs sort of, they never really could have invaded the U.S most Americans just wanted revenge for Pearl Harbor. The japs mainly just wanted control over Asia.
And yes i know there is a difference, i was merely stating that if the generation was supportive Vietnam wouldn’t be looked on as our biggest failure and disgrace.
Only because Hitler was stupid and opened war on two fronts in Europe. Otherwise Germans might have had chance winning in European theater and they would later turn on America together with Japs. Or alternatively, if US would stay back, Russians might still win in European theater which may have ended with basically whole Europe becoming communist.
