Thankfully here it would be unconstitutional to order people to be part of any organization for whatever purpose, including access to special (unmarked) toys.

How so? Ive purchased probably close to 30 in my life and ive never had any restrictions.

Yep same here, but a lot of manufactures like to put orange tips on their guns so they don’t get blamed when someone does something stupid like pointing it at cops and getting shot.

I have two very realistic looking guns, an m4, and an ak they are very high quality. I could paint over the orange tip if i wanted but i choose not to.

A lot of pellet rifles don’t come with orange tips (that may be due to people hunting small game with them).

Hahah ive done that before. Me and @Daniel_Boon have walked through a town with our extremely realistic looking guns and dressed in gear. The cops showed up, but they were polite and just told us to be careful.

This one is broken sadly. I was airsofting the day after Christmas at night, and it was around -10. I was hammering full auto and my gear box cracked. My mother learned that’s why you don’t give a 12 year old a 160 dollar gun for Christmas

This one has lasted me a long time and has mostly metal parts. The m4 is made more of plastic, but still has a good deal of metal in it.

My brother owns this one

I do miss air softing, i don’t really have the time for it anymore. Which is a shame because the terrain near me is perfect for it.

@TheDivineInfidel here’s a good read, since you thought Russia and China were as close as the U.S and U.K.

So, there I come from bathroom back to bed at 4:40 AM when I hear some thudding, a man’s shouting, followed by a female’s yell and sudden quietness.

I called the cops. As I was putting my pants on, my phone rings whether I can let them in (there are 2 locked doors at the front of the building).

As I get down there, second squad car arrives. 4 cops at the building less then 2 minutes from my call.

They knock on the neighbor above, first no answer, then woman opens and refuses to talk to them and they are on their way.

Well, I hope she knows what she’s doing.

My friend had a thief come into his room in the middle of the night a couple of years ago at university dormitory. They were sleeping, but the roommate woke up. He immediately pulled a pellet assault rifle from under the bed, aimed it at the thief and shouted at him to lay on the ground. The thief thought it is a real deal (universities are not gun free zones in my country) pissed himself and obliged. He spent next ten minutes before the cops came begging him not to shoot him.

Bet the theif felt dumb afterwards
If it were to come to a last resort i would try that but if they were to call my bluff, i couldn’t do anything. I just sleep with a knife under my pillow and my tomahawk under my bed in easy reach.

They sure are here. This resulted in the largest mass shooting in U.S history at Virginia tech.

I just gave a friend Walther Tactical Tomahawk as a wedding gift this Sunday

I actually gave him a whole package: a compass, distress whistle, curved mirror, taser, telescopic baton with inbuilt torch and the tomahawk. It was quite fun seeing him unpack that

Like a kid on Christmas i suppose.

I have one that looks a lot like it , but sadly mine dosn’t come with all the cool shit you were describing :disappointed:

Mines quite beat up after a few years of ownership. It’s survived my brothers jackass friends, so i think it can survive anything. One of them thought it would be a good idea to stick it in a fire to see the metal glow. The handle is a bit melted but hey it still works like a charm

Hah!

Few years back, my mother was sleeping in living room (my father snores hell of a lot) and as she was sleeping there was some noice on the balcony. Mother woke up and saw a guy trying to removes a glass window from balcony door.

When she came closer the guy saw her and freaked out. He took his heavy bag full of tools and threw it over the balcony while attempting to jump down himself, that was the first floor of block of flats but still the balcony was a few meter high. What he did not anticipated was that the bag would throw him off balance.
Poor fellow landed partialy on his head and shoulder. My mother in shock looked down and saw him lying there groaning in pain.
She called cops and when they arrived he tried to convince them that he tripped and fell. Though he gave no explanation of the bag full of thieving tools.

also sorry for crawling back.

And so the pack of wovles closes up on its pray.
Because as was written i the Book of Wolf
"Thou shalt not crawleth back"

Brilliant cover story

I very much recommend this:

I live on 3rd floor overlooking inner courtyard with very low possibility of anyone getting to the courtyard, not to mention the balcony, but still I installed that as I moved in. Let the bastard cut himself by climbing through the shattered glass before he looks into the tunnel of death. Gives you couple of seconds, otherwise he can just cut/break the glass and open the balcony door himself.

It costs something around CZK 250. Had I lived on 1st floor, I’d add anti-shatter layer on the window. Costs around CZK 1000 on a normal sized window, so I’d guess double of that on balcony doors. If you like your parents, then here is your idea for the next gift.

Well, he was not trying to open the door. He wanted to remove the glass table from the door without breaking it.
I did not really understood his approach as this was before reconstruction and the door was old an shabby. He would be probably able to open it with just pushing it

But I am noting this handle for future usage.

As this was only thieving attempt in the neighborhood for a decade. i am not really worried.

He probably wanted to cut the glass quietly, put the hand inside and open the handle. No noise whatsoever. He would probably walk around your sleeping parents had your mother not waken up. Had she waken up with him inside… Well, criminal’s natural instinct is to do whatever it takes not to get caught, and witnesses are bad business for avoiding capture.

That is what the lockable handle is for. He may be able to get in quietly by cutting a larger whole in the glass, but I suppose this kind of cautious criminal would not want to get into unknown place with no fast escape route. Especially when there are plenty other windows without locked handles in the street.

Statistics are for policy makers, not for someone who is concerned with safety of his loved ones. I don’t care if we have a very low violent crime rates in the country, because I know the rate won’t help me much if I ever face a violent criminal. I don’t care that I live on a 3rd floor with low chances of anyone getting on the balcony, because if some does get there, we won’t be having earnest discussion about how he did it and why he chose that particular one.

I do agree.
When that happens I have myself to blame.
But I will cenrtainly give it a thought.

Normal one here is a stick with a coat hanger at the end . Through your letter box and if your stupid enough to leave your car keys by your door then they get them . Take your car or simply unlock your front door

We don’t have that UK style fancy letter holes in the doors or US style fancy dog/cat holes in the doors, so forced entry is a must for thief in my country, be it through front door or balcony glass doors…

Couldn’t do it with my house though as I have porch so the letter box just goes into the porch then I have another door which is doubled locked and fucking solid . Which locks the moment it’s shut .

Had the pleasure of kicking it in once when I shut it and left the keys inside .

Good ten minutes of kicking it with alot of noise before it went in and at the time I only had the one lock on it (added a second one lower down when I got a nice car ) so good luck to anyone trying my house from the front .

Although the back of my house is all glass with a glass door which is latched top and bottom as well as your standard lock . So only way there would be break the glass which would hit the tiled floor of my kitchen which would be loud .

So I could be down and at them pretty quick .
I certainly have enough to defend myself if I felt the need . Got 3 dive knifes which are quite large
The The

(Not my exact one but blade is the same )
And I aso have 2 ice axes
Which are all under my bed with some of my kit . Pretty well protected unless I came agaisnt someone with a shotgun which is Unlikely

Junkie would break the glass. A thief would most probably try to cut it, as @prokybrambora mentioned above. Do you have at least motion activated light at the back? I’d put there a few hundred lumens just for a good measure, costs almost nothing and serves good also in normal conditions. My grandma has it and its done in a way not to be switched on by her dog (and automatically switches off during daylight).

Good to have the axe. Anything that helps to keep the attacker at arms length, knife is too close for me.
