The †roll Cave ®™

It is also policy issue. From what I’ve seen and read, many of these people have already lived and worked illegally in UK, and that is why they are trying to get there despite being already in France.

The Czech Republic has the following policy: once a refugee that is already registered under Dublin is caught in the Czech Republic, they get judicial order to leave the country back to the EU country where they were first registered. (The transfer may be paid by the state)

When the refugee gets caught the second time, it is considered breach of judicial order which is a criminal offense. That leads to criminal conviction (often with remand during the proceedings in standard prison) which in case of foreigners in 99% cases includes expulsion, so they get put on a plane back to the country of origin (imagine that after spending all your livelihood and risking your life getting to EU).

Nobody wants to be caught the second time in my country.

Fun fact: Randy Blythe of Lamb of God was in jail cell with two Mongolians facing breach of judicial order charges and waiting to be convicted and put on plain home.

You’re American? Hmm that’s surprising.

No no no, not in a dog fight in close air support. They’re widely recognized as one of if not the best planes for it. They also have an out standing service record. But i would imagine them being easy meat for fighters, due to how slow and large they are.

I’m just curious if the L-159 out performs the A-10 i never meant in a dog fight

Yep, and i gotta say they picked a god awful person to play Lex Luther, Jessie Eisenberg seriously?. Also Ben afleck as batman… But i thought man of steel was good so hopefully the movie wont blow ass.

But i’m still confused as to how Batman is going to beat Superman, seeing how their has been no mention of Kryptonite so far.

Hell even with Kryptonite how the fuck does Batman ever come close to beating someone who can shoot fucking lasers beams out of their eyes at the speed of light…

@Skoruligr fair warning since you’re Jewish you should know the troll cave is home to many humors jokes, that some might consider racist. Remember there are no rules here :sunglasses: .

Well, L 159 has speed and maneuverability going for it. Otherwise it can’t carry nearly as much as the A-10. It was made with the aim of having a cheap, super-reliable, super-easy to maintain aircraft that can take out enemy helicopters, ground armor, artillery (basically anything that needs precise laser guided hit and not a large barrage of fire), fly below enemy radars, and when needed, have enough punch to hold its own against enemy jets (even though it is much slower than fighter jets, that is where it’s radar comes handy).

This is the kind of jet that can deliver all it was made for operating alone from a barn on a field with just half-dozen ground personnel doing everything from basic maintenance to major repairs.

And I really like their looks. When you see them on an airshow you also realize how super tiny they are compared to other planes.

Here with Czech Army Grippens (Swedish made)

With F 16 over Baltics (Baltic states don’t have airforce so other NATO countries take care of its airspace changing periodically)

Yes although i’d say the armor on the A-10 makes up for that. As i said one took extreme damage from flak cannons and still provided support for over an hour, and it landed safely.

Another thing is the slow flying speed is actually seen as an advantage sometimes. They have a much longer window to shoot the shit out of anything on the ground.

Yes A-10s are also quite easy to repair.

Lovely :expressionless: But hey we’re always here to protect them

So does Island. Our L 159s just came back from exercises in Baltics and Grippens flew out to protect Island, taking over from Canucks who sent their airforce over Syria and don’t have enough capability to be in both places.

To be fair these are all very small countries and maintaining air-force is shitload expensive. And I personally prefer much more to have the outer border of NATO at in Estonia rather than Czech Republic.

You might like to read up on that @sirwarriant:

Well . I’d much rather have an A-10 backing me up . The Taliban fear them more than apaches . And boy if you ever get a chance to here the cannon in person it’s fucking breath taking .

How effective they are is down to the pilot . They don’t normaly miss but it does happen

I am pro A-10 team. This thunderbold is awesome. Its so unique. If I would need some CAS, A-10 would be my plane of choice.

They build the plane around a fucking gun! My favorite plane.

I raise you to Mi 35’s unguided rockets

Czech pilots like to make fellow NATO soldiers piss themselves even without firing them

[SOUND ON!]

Uhhh… Hind is also a powerful machine. Flying tank. But its a helicopter and not a plane.
Two crew with less weapon load. A-10 has only pilot and more… BOOM… on it.

Well, Hind’s usually have a special operations squad within its belly. No better way to introduce the squad to the theater than with some big bang from the Hind’s guns

Well NATO was pushing really hard to get Czech Mils into Afghanistan. Nothing like a proper armor flying around. Best with extra soldiers inside.

I’d rather sit behind the Hind’s armor than in front of it. Truth to be told it more reminds me of this:

Chinook , escorted by an Apache does the trick just fine

Well, that is quite true, but I’d say that having Mi 35s with a lot of guns a few soldiers accompanied by Mi 17s with a lot of soldiers and a few guns has its merit too.

Yes and no . The chinooks ability to carry Huge amounts of weights is huge in its benefits .

When my brigade went into Helmand (fist troops into Helmand ) in 2006 we were able to get about 100 men plus kit into each chinook (40 odd is the offical maximum but can fit more )
And some of the chinooks were also carrying 105mm guns on the bottom .

The chinook is the work horse of any miltary operating them . mi 17 can’t offer that sort of lifting power . I do like the fact the hind can carry men but I find that Isn’t always useful because generally The transport chopper will unload the men while the Apache or whatever covers the men . A hind can’t cover its self or the men until it’s unloaded and backed off .

So practically it’s sometimes pointless
