Yea I saw that the other day . It’s fucking stupid .
the absolute furthest that should of went was taking the shotgun off him and his certificate to own one . he clearly got an absolute cunt of a judge . but i doubt he will serve much time at all . at most he will be out in 6 months , thats if he doesnt appeal which im sure he will and he should be let free on the grounds of his age
I didn’t even read it as far as to see that he had a fucking license.
We have some no carry licenses (mostly for kids who don’t turn 21 and already want a gun - available from 15), and this would be a petty misdemeanor, up to € 200 fine - and that’s all (only if repeated the gun license may be revoked). That is just so fucked up.
State Attorney tried to prosecute a guy who had only a hunting license (no concealed carry, may own only long rifles/shotguns) and purchased illegaly a pistol on black market and was carrying it loaded.
The court held that since he already has a license to own a firearm, illegal ownership of another firearm is a petty misdemeanor and not a crime as the prosecution was trying to prove. I.e. € 200 fine.
He’s 88. He will be out in coffin, no matter what time he serves.
Well, I think it it strictly legal issue. Here in the Czech Republic I couldn’t just shoot a drone down, I could however call the cops and sue the owner for harrasment. And that’s what I would do (here if you win the counterparty has to pay all your legal fees, and this would be quite clear cut)
Here even google had to put its cameras on the cars lower for google street so that they don’t see over fences when owners clearly made fence so that strangers don’t see through.
i doubt it . he will be treated very well . he wont be chucked in with the other inmates like you picture . same as if your mentally ill your not put in a prison your put in a secure hospital where your under 24 hour medical care .
and it will be a category D prison (very low security ) he will be fine
but either way he shouldnt be there
I wouldn’t imagine any less. However, just the stress of being incarcerated as well as knowing that his wife is on the deathbed and he can’t be there to assist her will be enough to kill the guy.
Well, it isn’t. They brought standard cars they use everywhere else and the Privacy Office took them to court to cut the poles down. If it worked everywhere the same, I doubt they’d have to go through that here.
well go through google earth in any nation and tell me if you are able to see into people private property that you wouldnt be able to see without google maps .
maybe you have quite small fences and the standard camera could see over . but here the camera is unable to over our fences as well
but generally you cant see into back gardens in the UK from the road anyways. also you can have your house blurred out on google maps should you wish
of course like i said he should not be going to prison but he will be looked after very well and so will his wife . and he will likely be granted day release if not full release or a suspended sentence. very soon indeed . i cant see him being behind bars very long if his wife is dying and his age
I did a bit of digging and apparently the whole bottom of cab as well as bed is armored against IEDs. Of course, should the car flip over, it would be pretty fucked, but then again, if you want all the firepower, you need to cut corners somewhere.
Apparently the soldiers loved them, mostly because they became notorious among Taliban to the point that their mere presence usually made things quiet down.
apparently only two were deployed ? special forces .
personally i wouldnt be conformable in it . the armour underneath is very poor .
while is weaponry is great , great storage etc it looks rushed . they have just sliced a truck cabin in half and stuck some guns in the back to plug a kit gap . not something i like to see .
Hmm well the article doesn’t really give enough information. If the drone was hovering over the guys backyard, yeah i would say go ahead blow the thing out of the sky. But it if very quickly just passes over, there’s no need to over react.
My Father uses drones for his photography business and there are extremely strict rules on flying over and filming peoples back yards.
Not true where i live. I have a 6 foot fence and i can clearly see into my yard and my neighbors yard from google street view.
