Is there a story behind these pictures? For the bottom one i’m assuming they’re camping out for the realise of a game, since its Bestbuy.

Fun fact : North korea isn’t actually communist.
It’s actually a right wing nationalist nation which follows the ideals of Juche
.

In fact North korea goes against every communist ideal there is

The only state where everywhere is a cc zone is Texas. This was in response to a mass shooting, and i believe it was quite effective. My state simply banned cc in many more areas after the movie theatre shooting.

North Korea is a prime example of what happens, when morons attempt communism.

Except they are not communist  it’s actually closer to an absolute monarchy .

They were up until recently around 20 years ago now i believe. Any time communism is attempted, genocide, poverty, and oppression follow.

Bit longer I think , but they were never true communist . Was a bit of a mix . Between soviet ideals and Chinese ones (both communist but very different in the small print )

The only proper commie state is Cuba really

I’m going for 3 days to Switzerland next month. I can’t decide if I should rent a car and drive or buy plane tickets. The price is about the same for 2 persons.

Airplane: 1.5 hours getting to airport incl. waiting time + 1.5 hours flying + 1 hour getting to destination
Car: 6.5 hours if everything goes smooth (no traffic jams). Car will be 200km/h top speed, I don’t plan to run faster than 180.

What do you think, cavers?

i would drive it , and maybe stop halfway in Munich and spend a few hours there , have a meal etc then do the rest of the journey .

Well 2 hours more in the car, but you don’t run the risk of some German pilot flying the plane into a mountain

Holy shit, that fucking fast? The speed limits on our highways are usually 75 mph (120 kph).

Czech speed limit is 130, but I mostly drive 160 when the traffic allows it. (161 would already be much higher fine and possible loss of license for a year)

No speed limit in Germany. Hence 180 seems reasonable in Škoda Octavia rental.

But most importantly, here in Europe the left lane is for passing only really. From what I understand this law is not enforced in US and everyone drives on whatever lane they like. Then of course you can’t drive fast, that would be suicide.

I was thinking about it but then it turned out that Munich is one big traffic jam. I might do a stop in some smaller place in Germany instead. And maybe take it through Innsbruck on the way back and stay overnight there.

I’m just a bit worried the drive would be too exhausting and that is not good considering that this will be all the holidays I’ll have this year :frowning:

Quite common in Europe . Here the law says 70mph but I normally do 120 mph on a clear day . Never been pulled over . In fact I’ve been taken over by police before with no sirens on .

The only place this can’t be done is the M25 (motorways that circles london ) because they have speed camera every like 500 fucking yards

[/quote] stick that shit on cruise control and relax .

I need a good drive in my new car . Can get about 190mph (300 kmph ish ) out of it . But I’m yet to unleash it

What exactly is your car?

I own a jaguar F type (birthday present off my missus ) cars for me is like what guns are for you . so i spend nearly every penny i get on cars  but the f-type looks far more expensive than it actually is , by the time i traded in my old car (audi A5 ) that sliced around 20k off , i put in about 20k again and my missus paid the rest which was about another 40k .

so all in all about £80,000 for my dream car

thoughts ?

Its fairly common in the U.S. that in order to get a “decent” budget from the state the have to have certain amount of traffic citations (among other, ticket-able offenses) issued each quarter.

Total ranger training is actually seven months long.

Glad they didn’t have to lower the training standards. If they can’t handle the training then i have no fucking clue why they think they can handle actual combat.
