EU is already reaping the effects of climate change with all Arab world in turmoil (look at statistics of falling amount of rainwater, raising prices of food and the pattern of Arab spring). Meanwhile the US West is looking like it’s gonna be the next place where the climate change will be most felt.
Czech Republic is now starting a huge construction program aimed at keeping as much rainfall water in the country as possible (mostly by building huge number of small dams and marshes). Considering that we are in the middle of Europe and water from us goes to Germany and Poland, that will have also political implications in a couple of years.

I doubt it. California is really the only one having water shortages, and that’s not really because of climate change. My state was going through a really bad drought for around 5-6 years but that ended two years ago. We’ve been getting abundant rainfall. We supply a lot of western states with water, so really i don’t see water becoming an issue, as long as we don’t get another drought.
We also, are at an all time low for violent crime and murders.
Hmm that’s surprising. Although again, comparing the U.S with any European country doesn’t make much sense when you consider the population difference.
