nationewide paramilitary SWAT

Regional SWAT teams (8 teams covering 14 regions, in near future there will be probably 14)

Public Order Units - they use minibuses carrying 7 cops, they do mostly riot duties with riot gear, but when there is anything that might require large number of armed officers, then they put on the body armor and G36s.

Rapid Response Units - cop cars mostly with 3 cops in each, they are patrolling streets as immediate backup to the district policemen with G36 in safe in the car trunk

(Couldn’t find a pic with G36, but this is what the first cops who arrive will likely look like when you call in anything violent in Prague).

“Normal” district cops usually have in their car Scorpion EVO 3, HK MP5 or HK MP7s. Some may have old vz.61s and vz.58s, but these are becoming increasingly rare, catching dust in the station armories as the new guns are coming in. (Some prefer to have vz.58s because that is what they are used to and what train with in private though).

I stopped with weed when I started carrying. The thing is that here when you carry, the cops may ask you to do sobriety test or to lick the drug test sticker. And if you fail you lose the firearms license. The same when you fail while driving (even though you don’t have gun on you), also loss of firearms license.

So I also scaled back on alcohol. Now I drink only at home, outside only non-alcoholic beer.

Anyways, I always liked hashish more than weed.

Yeah, in the Czech Republic there is no social stigma to weed. It is legal to have up to 15 grams on you or grow your own 5 plants. So really, it is next to impossible to find someone who never smoked it.

I don’t really drink much in the week unless there is a big football match on or something .
But every Friday and Saturday I’m drinking .

But Im past the age now where I go out to get shit faced and wake up in a KFC toilet the next morning :slight_smile: been there done that :slight_smile:

Now I just go have a laugh with a few mates and have a couple of pints .

I do laugh sometimes though at the definition of an alcoholic in the US compared to Europe . It seems in the US if you go and get drunk with your mates every weekend . You’re perceived to have a drinking problem .

Here that’s simply seen as being Young . You would only been seen to have a problem if you have to get drunk every day and drinking heavily everyday on your own .

Then again I’m basing that off judge Judy :slight_smile: who seems to accuse anyone causing trouble while drunk an alcoholic .
Where as here you would simply be put into a cell for the night to sober up and told off in the morning and sent home :slight_smile: those were the days waking up in a police cell in a puddle of your own Sick :slight_smile:

I believe the current facts however in terms of how life came about .

If these facts change my beliefs will change. I try to stay as open minded as possible . But I certainly won’t commit my life to a “God” of which there is no evidence of his/her/it’s existence.

The idea that I’m controlled in whatever mannor by an outside being , doesn’t sit well with me and my personal beliefs which I suppose are not far off Buddhism in many ways :slight_smile:

Id say I’m quite spiritual in many ways however . I’m certainly not your average person in the way I see the world :slight_smile: but who wants to be average anyway when you can be exceptional :slight_smile:

Guns are actually regulated in the U.S. There are tens of thousands of gun laws and regulations, the reason our murder rate is high, is due to several different factors none of them being legal fire arms.

Ive told you time and time again. 90% of the gun crime in the U.S is committed by gangs, with ILLEGAL fire arms. More regulations would literally do nothing to impede them. It would only hurt people like me from obtaining fire arms.

50 cals have a lot of paper work, along with auto matic weapons. You cannot just walk in and grab one off the self. Ive had several family members look into getting them and the process is lengthy and time consuming. Hence where there have been almost no mass shootings with legally obtained 50 cals or full autos.

We have witnesses evolution only on limited scale, however we do have a very long record that is preserved in fossils as well as in DNA of both currently living as well as tens of thousands of years dead animals that leads to the theory.

You don’t see gravity but you can see its effects and by describing them make logical conclusions that lead to a very highly probable theory of gravity.

You don’t see plate tectonics but see enough of its effects … you know where it’s going, right?

Yes we have witnessed small adaptations. How ever even with those thousands of fossil records, they have never been able to prove Darwinian evolution. There is no proof that species can evolve into another.

Examples Humans and apes, Dogs and whales ect. This is because the process takes millions of years to occur. No one lives long enough to observe that, there fore evolution is still and always will be a theory.

I could say i see the effects of a god, without actually seeing him., But i would be laughed off. Following the atheist logic of “if i can see it, its real” plate tectonics don’t exist.

I don’t completely dismiss evolution, after all why couldn’t a god put a process like that into place. How ever i don’t like how people blindly believe it, and then call out Christians for believing in a god they’ve never seen.

There is a lot of solid evidence behind it. But it has yet to be proven.
