What is your opinion on the argument of uniformity though?

I read the article and the comments, and I must say the concept of uniformity being broken holds some logic to it.

Obviously being an American I am very detached from guardsmen history and culture, so I know very little on the subject other then what was written in the article and comments.

I do not see it cause to strip him of his turban but many Sikhs supposedly have served guard duty sans turban (with beards). Any allowances that detract from uniformity can with potential to harm morale.

Merkel is miscalculating as fuck.

First she says Germany will accept everyone in need. Hundreds of thousands enter Germany within week, possibly millions get moving from refugee camps in middle east.
Then Germany closes off its border, letting all other countries that are in migrants path to deal with the upcoming wave.
Then Germany asks others to accept refugee quotas, i.e. accept people who don’t want to go to these countries in the first place (only 60 out 1300 Syrians who entered Czech Republic between 2 and 9 September accepted asylum here, most continued to Germany).

Now Merkel says either accept quotas, or get EU funding slashed. I can hardly imagine anything else she could have done to bolster anti-EU politicians in Visegrád countries.

With this course of German recklessness maybe UK won’t be the only country with referendum in 2017.

I heard about this one. It was around 19th century BC when there was still a king on the Sand throne in Australia. When Australians made Brontosuaruses their salves and made them do inhumane stuff like watering plants and tasting beer.

There was the Big Bronto-uprising so that the Brontosauruses could work in mines and digging ditches.
Unfortunately Australians were so drunk that they did not even notice.

The Great Brontosaurus-Australian wars ended up in one broken flower pot.
After that no one has seen even single one Brontosaurus. It is said that they never existed in the first place.

But who knows… who knows.

Fucking legends :slight_smile: just seen the scenes at the Hungarian border . Love the way they have just slapped a 30 foot fence across the highway :slight_smile: and any attempt to cross it will be met with a full criminal prosecution .

This is really fault of countries like Germany and Sweden with high asylum approval rates and high welfare benefits. I am all for helping these poor folks but these guys in Germany and Sweden who make the millions get up and move need to reap what they sow.

We don’t pay any benefits to anybody who hasn’t worked and contributed into the social security system for at least two years. This applies primarily to Czechs and EU citizens as asylants are under a bit different rules, but it surely weeds out all those from countries like Romania or Bulgaria who might think of getting Czech welfare check. Not that the welfare would keep anyone afloat here.

The welfare system in the U.S is so broken. People can easily manipulate it to make a comfortable living without having to life a finger. There is actually a town in my state in the mountains, where everyone lives off welfare. Only a few people actually work.

We could use a system like that. If it were up to me i would get rid of welfare. Thats the reason so many illegals swarm our border each year.

I am not sure when it comes to choosing between AR and VZ though.

We were the only Warszaw Pact country that kept domestic guns and not Russian/Russian copies.
