my thoughts are we need to go back in , full force . im not talking NATO/ISAF , im talking the entire UN security council including russia and china .

the syrian government should be supported . all groups to lay down their arms , those who dont will be dealt with . then fair elections to take place , if Assad wins then we support him with security and rebuilding .

we could end it over night if the UN security council went in full force . none of this PC rubbish . let the military do its job

I don’t like Reagan either. The last good president we had took a bullet in the back of the head.

good . hope it hurt

Depends on who get’s in office. I’m not liking the leading candidates right now, but i don’t see how it could get much worse than the jack ass we have in office.

I would imagine getting shot in the head twice and not dying for a while would hurt pretty bad.

actually i would say it wouldnt hurt at all , you would be so fucked , id doubt you would have any real feeling .

He was conscious enough to be speaking, before the second round blew open the side of his head. I’d say he felt something.

im sure he felt it but i doubt he was in as much pain as you would think . just be numbness .

Is that your dog in your picture?

That makes sense actually. It is French municipal police, which are mostly not armed. Considering the task they had (walk a politician among squatters), the fact that they are normally not armed, a tactical shot gun with rubber bullets seems as a safe bet.

This happened when one town got 7.65s for their municipal police:

(Note: 7.65s are generally not considered as sufficient for self defense, but we had quite a few successful deadly DGUs with them in the past couple of years in my country. Usually old guys who get jumped and use their CZ 83s - absolutely reliable compact gun which goes for $100 for a good specimen here.)

I wonder what French municipal cops think when they see their Czech counterparts with guns like CZ 97 (.45 ACP) or CZ P09 (19 9mm bullets on tap, 21 with extended baseplate mags).

i was thinking possibly a baton gun , but a holographic weapon sight on a baton gun ?

i personally think all police should be armed or at least firearms trained , then increase how many officers carry depending on the threat level .
but im in a minority with that in the UK , as our media always looks at the US when these debates come about . where the police wave their guns about over fuck all .

so the majority feel it gives the officer that extra feeling of being above you when he has a gun which they currently dont here . but i think , as long as the officers are trained and disciplined correctly that wont be an issue.

With next to no firearms training (as is probably by French municipal police), it is much easier to aim any gun with that than through standard sights.

Another benefit of living in a CC country that I haven’t thought of yet. Here the cop must always assume that the person he is dealing with is legally armed. And I am yet to meet a cop who would be against CCing civilians.

This happened here yesterday. A family company specializing in restoring motorbikes. Three fuckers jumped 7 guys working in the garage and beat them all senseless, 5 severely wounded, 2 in critical condition. No knives, no guns used, just some metal rods.

And one would think that the numeral advantage and working tools on hand would solve it.

One needs a right tool for the job and this job needed a gun. Too bad that in the Czech Republic crime is so low that most people start CCing only after something happened to them (especially in case of rape victims).

im so tempted to take a gamble with a hybrid car . (thinking of the planet and all that )

been looking at the BMW I8 for a few days .

so tempting . such a sexy car and fucking cheap to run

Well if you’re doing mostly city runs, it makes sense. For me it makes no sense to use a car in the city. Prague has absolutely excellent public transport.

Not that I could afford it anyways. But if I had the money, I’d buy a small airplane and remain car-less.

You can probably get L-39 for i8 money.

(please disregard the Russian music - it’s just that the imbecile US owner has no clue where his plane comes from - otherwise nice flick. There is nothing Czechs hate more than Russians. Maybe Germans, but it would be a very close race between the two.)

FYI, they just started making them again 25 years later since the last batch (although the new ones will cost infinetely more than ex-Ukrainian army ones)
