no job truely requires a college education to get into . any job can be taught and a company can put you through college (such as law ) . its down to the employer if they employ you or not .
example . i was an officer . ive never been to university .
as listed on the army website the requirement to become an officer .
, you’ll need 35 ALIS points (34 for SNQs) from 7 GCSE/SNQ subjects, with a minimum grade C/2 in English Language, Maths and either a science or a foreign language; plus 180 UCAS Tariff points from a maximum of 3 subjects (4 for Scottish Highers and excluding General Studies) with a minimum of 2 at National Level 3 (excluding AS Levels) or National or International equivalent.
so to translate that . you need to have passed high school and sixthform (two extra years of high school ) and university .
however you can do as i did . join as a regular soldier and after 4 years apply to become a commissioned officer . if your commanding officer thinks you have what it takes he will sort you onto the course . and you need none of them qualifications .
this is the same with most jobs . and if university is required for say engineering . your company will put you through the course and pay for it all and you a wage because you will go to uni part time and work the rest of the time .
which is what my younger brother does .
he works for 3 months then goes to university for one week then work another 3 months and then another week at uni and so on for however many years .

Really? High school doesn’t end here until you’re 18/19. Is high school 4 years for you over there? Here we have 13 years of school before collage.
here we only have 11 years . which at the end you get GCSE’s . at which point you can leave school and go to college (different to your college ) where you can learn a trade . (painter , plumber , hair dresser ,chef etc ) or you can stay at school for another 2 years and do A levels which you need to then go into university .

I can’t really comment on the rest of this, because i have no experience in the matter. But I’m willing to bet what you’re saying mainly applies to the U.K.
nope . thats everywhere . no law anywhere says you must have these grades to do this job .

Right now it’s quite hard at least where i live for people my age to get a job, because you have 50 year olds, and illegals working at jobs ideal for people my age. And if you’re like me, you’re far too busy with school and other things. I’m busy driving all the time, I’m pretty much the family Taxi.
have you ever tried ? the people that claim they cant find a job , how many jobs have the actually applied for ? have the tried to make themselves more attractive ?
people than want a job will get a job . the lazy people just find excuses for their failure .

And if you’re like me, you’re far too busy with school and other things.
bullshit . there is 24 hours in a day . 4 of those are sleep . that leaves 20 hours to get shit done .

Well at least in my personal experience the people ive seen drop generally haven’t done crap so they’re too far behind to graduate.
a lazy person will always be a lazy person doesnt matter how many qualifications they do or dont hold .
doesnt matter how crap you did at school , if you’re willing to learn , you will always find people willing to teach you
