Just came across this:

I always thought that our army is a joke, but now I have a feeling I need to apologize to every single Czech soldier I meet.

to be honest from what ive seen of the armies of europe apart from france they all lack any sort of organization or teeth that you would expect of a modern force .

not the fault of the soldiers themselves but the politicians just supply them with shit .

its all well a good having 100,000+ troops but if you cant provide that force with spare parts , fuel , ammunition and food , you might as well have nothing .

thoughts ?

this was a few years ago , most officers carry tasers (at least one taser in each unit sometimes both officers have them )

but of course when its slightly more desperate

or just this complete badass

It is fucking stupid. It worked this time but a dead cop may be the outcome next time.

Here cops try to shoot kneecaps if you go after them with a knife, but when that is not an option, center of mass is fair game. But pepper spray? Baton? Against knife? Fuck that.

Taser may or may not work on the given person (same as pepper spray). As long as there is a back up ready to shoot lead, I say go for it, otherwise no way.

Also, just last week police here were dealing with an aggressive guy in hospital. They tazed him, he died. And that happened directly on emergency unit despite the best efforts of the staff to immediately revive him.

You say that but how many officers die in the UK ?

Very very few .

Personally I think all our officers should be armed .
And our armed officers also go for knee caps as we saw at the lee rigby incident .

The knife men was at the police car door in 3 seconds of it pulling up .

In that time the female officer was able to get out and put rounds into the knife mans legs and disable him which by any standards is a fucking good effort

What did he fall on ? Taser does not require the current to kill .

Voltage doesn’t kill . He either had a heart condition or he fell on something .

Seems like he was on some mix of drugs, when he got tazed the heart just gave up.

Also, this. I thought everyone everywhere has seen it already, but here it is for you.

One is too many, given that even the one could have been avoided by using a procedure that doesn’t put officer’s lives at risk.

whats the correct procedure then to have zero police deaths ? its impossible no matter what tactics you deploy on a small number of occasions the police will get it wrong .

the first video i posted the man was known to have a mental illness hence why they chose to deal with him in an unarmed manor , the could of easily got armed response and shot him .

they chose not too , if it can be ended without killing , dont you agree it should be ?

again , this is out side Buckingham palace at least 10 armed officer would be in range and sight to shoot him right away as this is by the main gate .

yet the situation was observed and instead they chose to hold back , contain and taser .

rather than open fire . as you could see at the end the majority of the officers that restrained him after he was tasered were armed , yet not a single one had pulled their weapons other than the taser .

you can actually see though the first taser didnt do the job fully , likely because it missed some what and the prongs didnt penetrate correctly

he was not killed directly by the taser , did the taser contribute to his death ? yes . but as i say and as is scientific fact the taser does not hold enough current to kill

for current to be truly lethal it should go from one hand and exit through the other , a shock across the heart at above 100 mA as the potential to kill on its own 9/10 times the person would be fine , of course there is always the chance the shock may trigger a heart issue or some kind of seizure or they fall on their head etc

a good example of this is at the science museum in london they had a Van de graf generator which the public were invited to touch. The generator had in excess of 1 million volts going through it. When the glass ball was touched it caused the persons hair to stand on end. They were able to do this safely because there were no amps carried by the volts.

Ah one of those videos. “What would American police do”. Well let’s see, being a cop in a U.S city is about ten times more dangerous than anywhere in the U.K. 146 cops have been killed in 2014, and over 1000 in the past ten years, and that number does not include the ones who are just shot or stabbed and then survive.

Also check out some videos where a cop has to shoot someone. 9 times out of 10 they are by themselves maybe with a partner nearby, in the U.K you see about 900 cops surrounding the guy. Of course it’s going to be easier to subdue him.

If you’re a cop in a large city near the southern border there’s chance for you to go up against someone using a fully automatic Ak-47 which was given to cartels by the U.S government.
If the U.K cops had to switch places with the U.S cops, then the U.K police would all be dead in a minute.

In a lot of cases for U.S cops it’s kill or be killed. There are legitimate cases of cops murdering people, but most of the time when cops shoot people it is justifiable. It doesn’t help that the media is spreading their bullshit, which has caused cops to be extra wary of civilians and vice versa.

that was not the point of my posting , before you go off on one , policing in the US is nothing like policing in europe ,

[/quote] interesting you say that , we did have an incident where an indivual in 1999 opened fire on police in a car chase with an AK47 they hung back stayed with him until he went to his flat and a siege followed , the police flash banged the flat and stormed in and arrested him with ZERO injuries to anyone .

could it have been alot worse ? ohh yes

it was all caught on dash board camera

now day i think he would of been shot however . but this was 1999 where police were a little more …relaxed . not many armed units , no tasers etc

play from 0:50 for the action or from the start to get the full story .

the most british of reports

" tango two three , we have had all our tyres shot out by this fucker with a machine gun "

the issue of having all police armed being debated here with the public and some polticians

@SirWarriant before you rant off on the first womens comment i dont understand what she is on about either in context as to why an officer was aiming a weapon at them in the first place seems she left out some details their but then again she is a left wing tit

FYI . the incident they’re disucusssing is where two female officers were gunned down at close range with a pistol and a grenade .

he called the police to report a burglary , when they knocked at his door he ambushed them . they had no chance armed or not to survive the attack .

another one here (better one )

? I was responding to the title of your video, and the general attitude that U.S police are all way too trigger happy. European police do not have to deal with the same shit U.S police do.

Then he clearly was not a good shot, and they are extremely fucking lucky no one got shot. Luck is all it was in that case, had the man been more accurate the police would have been dead. Like this case below.

Could you imagine something like this happening in the U. K back then? IT would have been a blood bath. Even with all cops being armed in the U.S it still was a shit storm. This is the reason why most cops have access to an m16 or ar-15 now a days. Ironically this all happened during the nation wide assault weapon ban signed in by Bill Clinton.

And again if you’re a cop near the southern border there’s a chance you can come under fire from this kind of weapon.

Well she is obviously lying her ass off. I actually started laughing hysterically when she started spewing that story.

I mean come on, she and her daughter were waiting for the light to changed and a cop in his car next to them decided to pull his gun and aim it at them? Is she fucking serious,? Why did he not give chase when she ran the light, that would have given the cop reason to arrest them? It’s laughable anyone believes that bullshit.

One women said, that our mass killings have everything to do with our gun laws. She is correct, we create gun free zones which are prime targets for killers, solve the problem and allow people to CC in places like movie theaters, schools, ect.

Texas did this after a large mass shooting and it worked for them.

She also said armed police did not prevent those shootings, she is correct. How ever if every cop is armed, then this they can immediately go in and stop a shooter, instead of waiting for a fire arms unit.

Yes, but if he knew both of them were going to be armed, would it have deterred him?

In response the second video. The incident at the Empire State building was lack of training for police. They need to be trained properly in fire arms properly before they receive them, that way they know when and when not to fire.

That is a big issue with some American police, they are not trained well enough with the weapons they are given. Lets also throw in the police vs citizens bullshit that the media and the government always push.
