The reason I support gun certificates is the same reason I support the need for a drivers license to own a car .

As for your crime rates I think it would help but it’s not the cure , I think your high levels of poverty are the main factor .
Generally a comfortable family doesn’t turn to gangs etc . You will always have crime of course but you can reduce it somewhat through sorting your social issues .

Our high murder rate is almost entirely due to illegal fire arms, being used by gangs to shoot each other. Making to where citizens much get a fire arms license would have no effect on those murders.
And the government has stated multiple times, we will register your guns then take them. So there is no way in hell i would support them being able to track legal fire arms purchases.
