I figured since you guys get a lot of rain, that you would also get a lot of snow.

i didnt say they are the same but certainly in the family , im not talking mechanically . im talking on the terms of being sold on the black market .

so when talking about AK’s being sold on the streets are we talking singularly AK47’S ,AK74 , AKM’s etc or are we also including AK styled weapons in which i would place the Vz.58 , the Chinese version , german version etc etc .

much the same as when discussing illegal AR15 on the streets (of which there are not many at all but just for the sake of the argument ) in that are we including weapons of that familiarity , so m16 , m4 , c8/c7 , L119A2 etc between all of them there are many material , mechanical etc differences biggest being of course the AR 15 is a civilian intended weapon but when discussing illegal weaponry and i would group all of them into the same style of weapon which of course you could split hairs and say the AR 15 is nothing alike but i would counter by saying it still carries the same affect when its pulled on someone which i why i would put it in the group

thats my point , @snejdarek and i were getting slightly side tracked as he likes to distance his nation from the soviet union whenever possible and clearly saw that as a situation to distance his nation from then but that was not my point nor intention . im talking solely on the style of weapon .

make sense ?

“braces for expected rage about AR-15 not being anything like the rest ;)”

nope snow off the mountain is rare.

My state is currently covered in about 3-12 feet depending on your location.

I hate snow man that would make me go nuts.

classic France and Belgium surrendering to the terrorists and cancelling their new years eve celebrations in fear of an attack .

exactly what the terrorists want

just reading about argentinas chances of ever retaking the falklands (im bored ) .

came across this statement that puts it into prospective …

Getting past the Royal Navy would be a challenge. In the South Atlantic, the Royal Navy deploys at least one of the new Daring Class Type 45 destroyers. Doesn’t sound much; but with each one capable of tracking up to 1,000 targets from 400Km simultaneously and engaging up to 300 targets in layers from 120 km to 30 km (provided the targets are larger than a tennis ball) simultaneously, it is the equivalent of 5 Type 42 destroyers of the type used in the Falklands War.
In effect, if all the serviceable attack aircraft in all of Latin America – including Cuba – were attacking the Falklands, a Type 45 could cope comfortably.

Then there are the four Typhoons based in the Falklands. With a combat radius of 100 miles, they would far outperform anything that would come their way with the exception of the Gripens. The Gripens – slower, with a lower service ceiling, and less thrust than the Typhoons – would, in numbers at least, stand a chance against the Typhoons.
But then they have to avoid the Star Streak missiles. Built in Belfast, Star Streaks travel at more than Mach 3 – three times the speed of a SU 24. My money would be on the Star Streaks.

For the sake of argument, what if the Royal Navy was accounted for by the Argentine Navy? With 17 war ships, including four destroyers, and three submarines the Argentines have again – on paper – a threat to the Royal Navy and the Falklands. But, again, that is where the threat ends. On paper.
The bulk of the navy is confined to port because of a lack of spares and engine problems. The ships’ on-board ordnance is past its sell-by date. There isn’t even the money for petrol to run the engines. One of the corvettes, Spiro (P 43), is out of service having run aground. So is one of the elderly submarines, Santa Cruz. The Submarine fleet has achieved a grand total of 19 hours of submerged training since 2012 against a minimum requirement of 190 days.
Training is very poor. The list of disasters is endless. The Sarandi – one of the destroyers – managed to damage the Brazilian Frigate Rademaker by firing on her during joint naval exercises, injuring four Brazilian sailors and an Argentine observer when her fire control system went haywire.
The Destroyer Santisima Trinidad capsized and sank at anchor due to poor maintenance. And that is all before the Type 45s even turn on their defence systems against ships up to 40 years old and with the RN’s submarine fleet not even considered.
In a nutshell, I’m not sure what the fuss is about. I wouldn’t worry about the knackered old Fencers. They need to be maintained and we know that is one capability gap in the Argentine military.

the last point about the argentina’s navy is very true . which is along the same lines of what i mean when i argue the UK is still the US’s strongest military ally . although our army is fairly small as is the navy and air-force . we have the ability to deploy fully are forces and maintain and support every unit in our forces . not many nations these day other than the top 5 powers can do that …even france cannot do that hence why we had to help them deploy to mali

so we actually out number most nations when it comes to our deployable forces . although i still feel we need more man power

Yeah, that number sounds awfully close to the number of confirmed kills of Chris Kyle, and that Royal Marine sniper. Since the Iraq army, mainly seems to just run from ISIS I’m guessing he’s full of shit.

That must be an awful feeling of responsibility for the officers sent to the scene:

“Pardon me, sir, did you happen to have an erection about five minutes ago?”

Man I can only imagine what your 550HP feels like, but after riding about 2500kms in my GF’s 330HP 7er in the past two weeks, the usual rental cars will never be good enough.

I still have mixed feelings about the sport exhausts, though (seems unnecessarilly noisy). Nevertheless, they become quite unmixed once I floor it with windows open.

sex it feels like sex

surprisingly though when just cruising my car feels very conservative but when you switch it to sport and put your foot down it turns into a complete beast .

it has one floor though … teenagers …
if i pull up at a set of lights next to some lad in his pimped out 2001 vaxual corsa they always try and beat me off the line or cut me off etc . people just drive like complete idiots sometimes so you have to be on guard all the time .

[/quote] the noise of my car is likely the best thing about it , the F-type is famed for its sound and its whats got me interested in wanting one so bad

im dreading the cost of a service though  and it burns through fuel like no tomorrow . so i tend not to drive it everyday . if i have a really long journey i normally take my GF’s range
