The †roll Cave ®™

the list includes shooting of 4 or more people in a short period of time which is what the FBI consider a mass shooting.

I would like to carry a weapon and my state is safer than London is and there is a lot of fire arm owners here
[/quote] i would dispute that , as ive never experience much crime here at all above petty crime .

do you carry a weapon out of curiosity ?

Neither have i. The thing about America is you have a few places where almost all the murders take place. Chicago/ Washginton D.C, Detroit, L.A. Its really the cities that are infested with gangs that make the rest of the country look bad.

You have to be 21 to conceal carry in my state. I got a few more months to wait then i can. But its still pretty expensive and time consuming to get so i might have to wait a while still. When i can get i would like to carry as much as i can really. The threat of getting mugged/attacked may be remote where i live but i would rather be prepared. If i ever were to be attacked/mugged i cant count on police that are 10-5 minutes away. Even if they were only 1 minute away thats still enough time for me to be dead/ dying. The most common form of robbery in my state is car theft. If i ever saw someone trying to jack my car i could simply hold them at gun point till police arrive. This has happend many times and 95% of those situations are non lethal.

My state has how ever had 2 mass shootings. Columbine and Aurora took place less than 30 miles from where i live. Columbine happend during the full auto ban and the shooters also used pipe bombs and shotguns. Magazines that have 10 rounds or more are also banned in my state because of Aurora. Columbine was a failure of the police department though. A student notified the police a year before it happend saying that the shooters were talking about bombing the school. The police department did nothing how ever and the result was 12 dead and other wounded. Had the sheriffs department followed up on the report the two would have been arrested and nothing bad would have happend.

its mostly the same here really , most of the crime is in council housing Estates where all the unemployed lazy state sponging wankers are and they basically fight and kill each other . the police for the most part leave them to it because the moment they attempt to go in they have the entire housing estate crowding them .
also here the police benefit from being able to search anyone they like to a great deal . your average joe is left alone but a bunch of kids with hoods up are normally stopped searched and sent away back to the shit hole they came from

my area i would expect to start filling up with armed police in the coming days , as ISIS have just instructed people to target Westfield shopping center in startford which is 15 minutes from and oxford st which is about 30 minutes from me and also some targets in the US . basically to carry out large gun attacks which would be devastating in westfield as it is constantly packed full ,
generally it has an armed police patrol inside but im sure that will be stepped up now

Yeah most schools have extensive Security measures now. Cameras, cops , intercoms. All the schools in the town where i live were shut down for the day because there was a stabbing at a grocery store.

Another thing i find fishy about sandy hook. American schools after columbine got very extreme security measures. Cameras are everywhere. Intercom systems were in place at all doors they had to see you before you got to enter the building. Also almost every school has an armed cop attached to it. So why was there not camera footage captured at Sandy hook. None what so ever. Columbine there was tons of footage of what was going on inside the school.

Just looking into and came across this website , have not read much into it but i am now , looks decent

Just out of curiosity, how much time and money does it take in your state?

You are concentrating on the firearm violence, but you totally omit the total violence. The fact is that you are much safer in the Czech Republic with over 200.000 legal concealed carriers (that would translate to 1.260.000 in UK if it were legal there and the UK would have the same population ratio), with the government expressly encouraging the people to carry at least a pepper spray or an electric paralyzer for self defense, than you could hope to be in UK, where you not only can’t have the gun, but even the meager pepper spray or telescopic baton.

I would fear to live in a country where it is easier for criminal to get armed than it is for law-abiding citizens to be armed for self defence. Sadly, that is most of EU today.

second part of the article
https://justicesandyhook.wordpress.com/

i do not need a gun or a pepper spray to feel safe in my own country i think thats gives me a better sense of freedom than you , as someone who feels the need to carry a weapon to feel safe .

but its your choice to make not mine to make for you . if i could legally carry a weapon for defence i still wouldnt .
would i own a gun …yes most likely , but i wouldnt feel the need to carry it around with me , i would use it for leisure and sport.
i could own a shotgun if i wanted too badly , infact there is a gun shop 300 metres from my house on the high street .
and plenty of gun clubs near me that if you’re a member off you have a good chance of being granted a license

Ignorance of crime doesn’t make one immune to it, merely foolish.

And meanwhile you can be lying to yourself that this is the result of different criminal systems and different way of keeping statistics. I wish you well and I hope you stay safe. I hope you won’t find the reality the hard way, like my GF’s friend who ended up with smashed face on his tourist trip to London, has several reconstructive surgeries behind him and a couple more ahead.

Meanwhile your country is safe to the point that your government has ordered you not to wear uniform in public because someone may cut your head off…

you can throw every statistic you want at me . but at the end of the day i feel safe where i live and in 28 years the most violent crime i have experienced personally is a punch up in a pub

government hasnt ordered anything , that was by a labour MP , the conservatives are in power not labour

see this earlier made me laugh . taking back the US one mcdonalds at a time

the wet floor sign at the end killed me

That article lost all credibility in my eyes when it said its normal for a father to laugh 2 days after his six year old daughter was killed. If it was just one man acting this way i could laugh it off as a conspiracy. But when all the parents are smiling and having a good time in the CNN interviews literally a week after their six year old was shot to death. That’s when i question the credibility of these so called parents in mourning. There was no footage of Adam lanza at the building. I could understand them not wanting pictures of their children realised but there were none of the shooter. Not to mention the fucking face book pages for the family were made a day before the shooting happened.

Sandy hook was also the highest hit to kill ratio of any school shooting. If you look into other school shootings the shooters didn’t kill everyone they saw. Look at any other mass shootings like Aurora and Columbine. These people were not trained. Most of the people they shot were non lethal. But some how every single person who was hit by a bullet that day died except one person.
Oh i also might add he managed to do this in under a few minutes

Oh and i also might add the same fucking teacher that apparently was killed at Sandy hook was also at the Boston bombing a few weeks later.

Its around 150 bucks for the permit and then i would still have to spend a couple hundred on a pistol and even more money on ammo. You also have to take a pistol training class before you can apply for one. Most people who get it say it takes around 80-90 days after they apply for it. Its also only valid for 5 years.

I am not debating whether or not sandy hook is legit I personally believe that story has more holes then a block of Swiss cheese, But do you have no personal experience with tragic loss or mourning?

Grieving is a long process and is experienced many different ways at different times for different people. I haven’t seen the CNN clip you mentioned so I can’t say that these people were grieving in the given example but that doesn’t negate the fact that people aren’t always extremely depressed when they lose someone whether that person is 100 or 6 months old.

In my personal experiences it has always been comedy and laughter that has gotten me through the death of a loved one, However I have not suffered the loss a child (experienced a girlfriend getting an abortion without my consent, still I don’t see it being the same though).

People experience loss differently and at differing intervals of time, people also present their mourning differently privately and publicly.

I have been to a funeral for a 17 year old before. His parents could not say anything about him without sobbing. But you’re right people grieve in different ways. But what are the chances that every single family who lost a child laughed and smiled through interviews. I mean seriously they are not 1 bit sad.

Robbie Parker didn’t know the camera was on him when he was smiling and laughing like he was having the best day of his life.

This guys acting is so bad it makes me sick.

Yeah that’s some pretty bad acting. Like I said before I see allot of holes in that story.
