I do not shy from it either, but hard work plus shit people over stresses me fast.

Hahaha heah theres allot of shit workers here, my last job rolling laves of bread I got asked to slow down allot as well.

It has always amazed me how many people want money for shit work.

I wish there was still more skill based industries.

So you worked with a convicted murderer, on scaffolds, and around power tools? I bet you were careful how you talked to him.

Sadly that is not how things work here. It’ doesn’t help that any politician who wants to enforce immigration gets called a racist, and is compared to Hitler, the most recent example being Trump.

Why don’t you sell potz products? Business’s like that are springing up all over my state, and they’re making a killing.

Highly competitive industry and people with money have been coming from Colorado and Califrnia before legalization getting pre-established.

we have already had to implement residency legislation which was already passed after some big companies hot rooted.

I see, here it seems like everyone and their mother is opening shops and shit, ive heard a lot of success stories too.

Its the same here there are lots of shops opening and having success but this is only short term, in the next five years 75% of these businesses will be gone.

The real money is in growing, but the property needed for such an operation is far and few in between and extremely high priced due to demand.

There is also a bottleneck because there are banks that are refusing to allow properties they own to be used for such enterprises due to the federal legislation.

Its not impossible but I would be competing against big money and people who have been embedded into the industry for over 20 years, Oregon’s medical Cannabis scene has been huge.

Don’t remind me on that one. I was by the line and the machine was spurting a loaf every three seconds. I had to catch it, turn around, and neatly place it on a cart. After 45 seconds, I had 15 seconds to push the cart towards the ovens (another person took it over from me there) and get back and start catching again. No fucking way to slow down. And C 60 degrees.[quote=“McWonderBeast, post:10777, topic:21032”]

Where do you live that there are none? Fortunately Czech Republic has the most industry based economy in Europe (s opposed to other countries with agriculture like Poland or services like most) so there’s really no shortage of those.

With this one, we were laying down paving stones, so we were at street level. No power tools, but we used to throw/catch quite heavy paving stones as part of work.

Something like this:

The only moment that was a bit hairy was when he asked me if I want something when he went to shop to buy a beer. I told him to fetch me two bottles of non-alcoholic beer (it was hot as fuck). He didn’t know that it exists and he thought I am trying to make fun of him in front of others. He started shouting whether I think he is a fool or what, “non-alcoholic beer motherfucker? I’ll show you non-alcoholic beer!”, and to stop messing with him or else.

He had more than 40kgs on me, wasn’t exactly athletic but he certainly has done enough push ups while behind bars.

Ah bakery life, never a-fucking-gain.

Its not that there is none its just allot less opportunities then there was in the past.

Ahaha saw that the other day, fucking killed me. They should re write Terminator and make the machines spout “Bush did 9/11” and “Hitler was right i hate the jews”.

There have been tons of farmers starting to grow out here, recently someone tried to open a “Canabis Costco” (Cost co is the greatest super store on the planet in case you don’t have them in Oregon) not sure how that went down. I’m surprised that land would be so expensive in your state, it seems most western states ( California aside) have a lot of land for cheap. I know thats that case in my state.

Ive also heard that some people getting into that business are having issues with gangs, and cartels who don’t like competing with local growers.

I’m hearing all the time that skill based industries are really struggling to find new replacements because a lot of workers are retiring. Welding is one i know of where something like 65% of welders are going to retire in the next 10 years or so. Plumbing is also one i keep hearing has a shortage of skilled workers, I guess it’s different for your state.

I guess a lot of people just don’t find those jobs attractive, they’re too busy going to collage and taking “Gender studies” and other useless horse shit like that, then bitching when they don’t make 6 figures when they get out of school.

There was actually a time i was really considering welding, but i spent one day in a shop watching a welder work. My Father was doing a photo shoot for a product. The welder they were using or the shoot, pretty much spent the whole time saying how welding is the worst fucking job in the world, and told me to never consider it.

I guess he made pretty good money, but had to work 12 hour days (making shit for fracking) in a thick coat and gloves when it was already scalding hot in the building. He also had horrible eye problems since there were usually 12 other people working around him, and the light from their tools went under his mask.

Was this before you started packing, or did you just not take your pistol with you to work?

Long before, I think I wasn’t even legal age to CC.

You probably have already answered this before, but what is the legal age to CC there?

@TheDivineInfidel

Did you see many U.S troops in Afghanistan using trench bats?

most of the open outdoor plots are in counties that prohibit cannabis production, so all the old republican farmers ut here are like hell no.

All the infoor properties are either owned by banks with federal regulations or are also in counties that prohibit production.

A surprising amount of towns still do not want it legal.

Interesting, i assumed your state would be more supportive of a legalization than mine. I haven’t really heard of any counties opposing it here. I really don’t see why anyone has a reason to oppose it, Colorado has made bank of off taxes the last few years, and it actually hurts organized crime.

This comment sums it up.
