I’m strying to start the quest and i’m at the neuhof stables. The quest says “Saddle Zora’s dappled grey.” but when i mount the horse the quest won’t update or anything so just ride with the horse to Talmberg and when i find Sir Divish i can’t talk to him there is not even an option to talk to him. I don’t know what the problem is , i did some other quest before i started this quest but that doesn’t seem a problem i think.
Not sure, but have you killed any town NPCs? I know in my first playthrough, I had a whole collection of NPCs stuck in the creek that runs through Talmburg, some of them eventually dying and think that caused a couple of quests to fail advancing. My understanding is that the NPCs will eventually respawn but I didn’t know that at the time.
Anyway, I think they assemble 4-5 NPC riders from the area for the race, and maybe if one or more of them is actually dead, it won’t let the race start? Guessing here. I just ran this quest this morning and didn’t have any issues.
No i didn’t kill anyone there but the race isn’t even started if first must saddle the horse and ride to talmberg but the quest log doesn’t update. The quest just keeps saying “Saddle Zora’s dappled grey” and when i ride the horse the marker of the quest jus stays with the horse.
It seems my neuhof stables is bugged i loaded a save game from when i started the quest and it worked fine but that save game was hours ago. Also it seems in my save game the dead horses are still lying around and weird flaoting npc’s. From when i started the quest the dead horses weren’t there. My main quest is still with Reeky and i have not completed the quest with Sir Divish with the broken church/
Yeah, when I run into this kind of thing usually I start walking my saves back until I find one that works. Sounds like you can work your way out of it; would certainly advise a few more saves as this has bitten me a few times…
Yes indeed, i traced back a few saves and the save of 4.5 hrs back did the trick and decreased stuttering alot too. Its not too bad bcs all i did was find treasures. I think patch 1.3.4 caused it bcs after installing it the cutscene that triggers right after you’re hunt with Capon started playing while i already had this a long time ago.
