The Underwear Village

I’ve been stealing from the villagers, and so… now most of the village is running around in their underwear. It makes it harder to tell characters apart, and it’s somewhat damaging to immersion. I realise I caused this problem with my sinful stealing, but I’d like to suggest that these characters will get new clothes the next day, if that is possible to arrange.

I do recall knocking out a character I had robbed bare earlier, and he had more items. So it appears there is code that adds more items to the inventory of these fellows. If clothes could be added to that, it’d be really cool to see them walking around with new outfits the next day.

find it silly that guards can patrol streets in their underwear. if NPCs respawned clothes and such, you could use it as an thieving exploit. not sure what the solution is beyond perhaps downgrading the respawned personal effects

Knock them out and put items on them and maybe they will equip them? On another note I’ve seen people picking stuff up off the ground I’ve dropped, I’m not sure if it was only stolen items they did this with or also non-stolen, try to drop items In front of them and maybe they will pick them up.

yes try to drop some pants on the ground and see if they will pick them up and wear them

I wonder if you drop a dress I’m fromt of a nude guard if he’ll wear it…
