I was looking closely at the Road map for DLCs. Since our first two were introduced recently, I can guess when others are planned to be released and they seem to be coming in one month interval. However, moding support does not have point towards the timeline which is stretched up to 2019 what seems to be summer.
Well, it seems you didn’t get the joke. Did you read the text during the first death at the start of hardcore mode? On top of that, the negative perk system does make sense. Some of the illnesses etc that you have from negative perks are received from birth, or happened during daily life before the start of Henry’s story. How else do you think that could be incorporated?
I agree about the HUD, it should be totally removed, including perk activation and symbols etc. Especially that bloody compass. The save system is also very unreliable due to the fact that the game is still buggy. On my first time trying out hardcore mode I had to start again because the game bugged out and I couldn’t continue, so I lost 2 hours worth of gameplay and had to start from the beginning. The second time the game just outright crashed, so I lost 1 hour of gameplay and didn’t bother to try hardcore mode again.
I would also say for WarHorse to please, please add HUD toggling options for non-hardcore playthroughs. Just get rid of the perk activation notices altogether and take the perk symbols off the HUD screen, it’s so damned annoying.
maybe loading times could be improved, but its not a biggy since im in always on mode on my xbone
I just spotted breast growth in my latest walkthrough. People mentioned it earlier on forum but I never saw it.
Does the breast growth need to be improved as in larger? Haha
Her boobs got larger but I am mean they just appeared like when you fill balloon with air.
Yeah. I’ve been complaining about the rain since release. On PS4 it is disgustingly bad at times.
Agree with the need to minimize the hud. The best solution is to implement a dynamic hud. I would refer to Horizon Zero Dawn, where it fades out after a little while, and comes back on with a light touch of the touchpad. I realize it would have to be a different interface solution for the PC, but something similar would be absolutely fantastic. Being able to explore without the intrusion of the hud would make things so much more immersive, and very appropriate for a game that thrives on realism.
From the KC:D Artbook: “Our aim was to avoid the minimalistic design that is fashionable today, so that the UI would visually underpin the period visuals of the game and, to a certain extent, recall some early RPG user interfaces, such as that of the famous Eye of The Beholder.”
I can’t imagine their fancy HUD made of solid-looking gold, leather and paper just fading away, this would look extremely stupid. It’s different from the simplistic modern-sci-fi-looking console-oriented ‘floating’ UI of Zero Dawn. No, the best solution would be a simple toggle option
edit: Or I just remembered similar, but different-looking thing that i saw in some other game - HUD elements that ‘slide’ outside the screen when not used instead of fading. But anyway seems too much and might be annoying, why bother if they can have toggle option
Thanks SasauCat. I didn’t know that. I haven’t seen KC:D Artbook, but I really admire the conceptual design of the game, and your mention makes perfect sense. Indeed it’s a very different type of visual interface. A toggle option would do nicely, safeguarding the consistency of the experience.
I totally agree with you!
