Things that should be fixed before another dlc!

First of all I first said that the lock picking was a joke. Now I have to take that back since the patch. I have to say I love the game and the way they tried to stay with factual history. But there are still so many things that could be patched before a new dlc. So lets everyone put in some suggestions. BE CIVIL !

  1. I have to look faster , why dose it take so long to look side to side ?
  2. The small x marker , why white ? If your on a 4K tv it’s almost impossible to see.
  3. I keep falling through the ground and have a quest i cannot finish because when I killed the bandit leader he fell down a hill and off the map. Now I cant finish the whole kill the bandits .
  4. The rain ? Did you use the rain for a 70’s cartoon ? It looks like it came form a Johnny Quest cartoon.
  5. Being able to stop on fast travel
  6. I have 4 quest I cannot finish because they are broken. Like the end of the game is horrible.
  7. We need to be able to pause the cut scenes they are so long you have to be able to pause.

OK lets add on to suggest things to the developers to make gameplay better.
PLEASE DONT TRASH THE GAME . JUST SUGGESTIONS FOR THE NEXT PATCH.

Not every body has or wants a 4k tv BTW. the devs make it, the game, for the majority of users.

Fix Capon running around in his undies from Godliness onward.
Put player pole arms ( even if nerfed a little) and shield skill back in the game.
Have farmer and merchant carts on the roads going from place to place
Have smarter bandits/cumans , ones that just don’t stand there looking stupid.
Reduce the ability to loot/sell to the point of gigantic amounts of cash half way thru the game.
the ability to gather and sell bandit leader horses.

Just few off the top of my head. PC BTW and use a 25" LCD computer screen in 1920x1080.

I would be happy enough if bugged quests were fixed… like Theresa inifinite loading or the Cuman Prisoner not talking to me anymore…

Completely agree that things should be fixed before adding anything. Too many broken quests and random bugs at the moment. I wouldn’t want to add any dlc to something that isn’t finished yet. Would like to see the reputation system looked at as well.

Most of the bugs are fixed and really it isn’t productive for an indie developer to spend years of money on bug fixes, especially considering 9/10 of the bugs are them are due to people installing mods.
we want dlc now

Years? slight exaggeration no? game came out February of this year and in a way less than optimal state(fact), this damaged the games reputation. it has seen lots of improvement, but does need some more ironing out.

I believe it would be much better for the studio and fans alike, for the game to be running smooth before dropping any major DLC on it.

He just states that it would be in the games better interests to have it bug hunted as best as possible and running well before having DLC 's that could add to the bug problems.

I agree.
I want to add another bug I have run across.: the grindstone: I can only do 1 or 2 weapons before the rotation button/trigger fails. also sometimes the weapon fall INTO the stone and the grinding fails.

its not buggy tho, no more than skyrim. 9/10 bugs come from those who are using mods, which is none of the devs responsibility

No, the game still has serious balancing issues, AI slow response, etc etc. Not everyone who has tried mods is irresponsible or retarded, and report false bugs by the rage mood. He’s mixing things up for his own interest in the need to play new content, finish it and ask for more, without considering any other factor.

I hope that Warhorse fixes the current issues in the game (they are not game breaking but really need polishing; They said they wanted more time to polish the game, so now you have it after the huge success) before releasing new content. There’s a clear industry trend of leaving games unfixed and unbalanced (e.g. Creative Assembly Total War games, Bethesda Games, etc etc) but only obey to releasing new unpolished content for the sake of earning more money and calm shallow non-critical players. In my opinion, the result is getting worse games over the years, and this has to stop. Warhorse has been built with different phylosophy, so please, don’t change it because of some impacient people (generally teenagers) raging the forums.

Not sure if this is console and pc wide but ever since 1.4 I very very rarely get encounters while traveling. only bandits, cumans and the shoeless beggars. I have yet to meet the riddle guy and haven’t seen the duel guys since before the update. should fix this and at least try to change the voice and appearance of these npc’s. different encounters would be great too. Also It would be really amazing if WH studios could let us create a campsite anywhere, to eat and sleep just like the system red dead redemption had.

Fix the combat/NPC AI

Doesn’t have to be done before DLC. Just needs to be fixed. Also, the targeting sucks… when I rush to surprise attack an NPC, the game doesn’t allow me to launch sucessful attacks until I get the targeting icon. That takes time and my element of surprise is lost. Stealth kill shouldn’t be the only (effective) surprise attack

Good point. No use having the element of supreeze if you got to wait for the guy to turn and face before you can engage properly.

Patch 1.5 confirms that the game was not completely fixed/DLC ready (great work from Warhorse anyway, they’re keeping their promises of not leaving us back :slight_smile: ), so you’re saying non-sense as a norm, troll. Either you don’t realise about your stupidity/contradictions/inconsistency or you’re just saying rubbish to annoy people.

P.S: Go to report this as well, as you do when you look as a complete idiot. Cheers :wink:

I don’t think it would be that though to change it to yellow like the other markers no big deal. Sorry you don’t like 4k tv’s lol but the game is sold as a 4k game. Just saying.
