Thoroughly stuck in the monastery

Well, I founf the coin stache and invested parts of it to buy lockpicks.

Now, to get on the good side with the circators, I’d need to get them wine, for which I either need exactly the amount of coin from the stache, that I just don’t have anymore, OR pick locks “very hard”…

Yeah, well, I already picked every single other lock in the monastery, and can’t possibly get anywhere near good enough to pick those, whilst inside the monastery.

Can’t get the pages torn from books without opening the few ‘very hard’ chests, either.

Nor get the keys nor picklock the cabinet with the forbidden books.

I don’t want to spoil it but they’re many other options to complete this quest.

I know I have some options to get the core done, i.e. dealing with pious…but all the other stuff to do in the monastery seems to be locked out, because it always comes down to either being a master thieve or lockpick, to continue.

You should help out the librarian. He will give you a key. Or you can just kill all the starter monks. It is up to you. I just told a certain someone my plan and went from there. You may have to pick a couple of easy looks though. No very hard ones.

Help the librarian with the book pages? found 8/10 but there aren’t many rooms in the monastery the missing pages could be hiding, but there is one very hard chest, that is suspiciously placed

Sleep to save and pick pocket the key while he is sleeping.

Didn’t go for a full rogue playstyle, so did not want to steal something for Peshek, so not even remotely able to pickpocket at all…

Read up on the pages locations and one is supposed in the abbots chamber, but where the heck is that even located???

It is through the door in the library next to the forbidden book shelf. You have to go in that restricted area to get it. You might want to go there while everyone is sleeping. You need to sleep to save at night and reload the game if you mess up. This is a hard quest to do right. Just use the sleeping at night as your sneaky time.

Mostly nocturnal for any sort of investigation… When supposed to work at the fratery, I can cook up any potion endlessly, to pass the time and lvl. alchemy.

But I wish there was more usefull stuff in the library…after 3 minutes of writing work…
Would sure be nice to have a lot of useful books there, that one was actually allowed to at least read in the library, rather than even touching them being stealing…

Right…I managed to find another way out. After breaking my last lockpick and not getting out that night, and no way to tell jodok, he just seems to not care any more. got out myself another night, and got the wine for the circators, but there is now no way to deliver it?!?

No possibility to give it to them?

What am I missing now?

You need to tell Antonius your plan to find the bandit and that you want to kill him. Then you go on with your day and he will come up with a plan. You will have to pick pocket the monastery kills from the Librarian now. There’s is one other option: Kill Antonius and get kicked out. You have to serve 10 days in jail but it will get the job done. Oh and there is one lock pick behind the alter where they hold mass. It is laying on the right side I think. If you have 200 grochen you can pay the guy that sells you the lock picks to get the keys.This is after Antonius tells you his plan. He will take a couple of days to get them.

I tried that but didt get to fruition as the circators made me rage quit…

I am a bit frustrated I cna not tell pious, that I want to talk to him, as opposed to telling him I want his head on a platter.
