This is just a bit funny thing, however I’m not sure if it is a bug or not.
There are plenty of guards in towns and villages, but they never react to the NPC’s wrongdoing. However, they immediately rush to arrest me even when I do their job.
In the morning there is someone chasing a man yelling “thief, thief!”? They won’t react at all. But let me help that man - I make a marksman’s shot with a bow and the thief is down on the ground. Oh, what is it??? It is a guard! “Stop right there! How dare you to injure people bla-bla-bla…” and puts a fine on me!
Or bandits attacked me near a town, I’m desperately trying to defend myself against the band of three thugs. Oh, who is this strolling by so frivolously with a glaive at “shoulder arms”? It is a guard! “Hey, man! I am being killed here!.. Wha…? Your shift has not yet… Oh, I see… Yeah, have a nice… f***ing cuman… have a nice day too!” Ha-ha, damn bandits, I showed you! What? Fine? On me? But your shift…? A minute ago? But it was self-defen… what you mean you don’t care???
Sorry, if the description is a bit confusing, but is it how they behave for everyone? I know they behave this way in many other RPGs, there was a mod for Skyrim, for instance, that aimed to change this. I think it is the area for Warhorse to improve.
