Timer Issues on Patch 1.4.2

Not sure if bug or not, but here is the issue:

  1. On my Mysterious Ways task with the priest after the debauchery scene, I go to do the sermon but the timer spins and spins and spins for 2 minutes with no visuals.

  2. At your Service, My Lady task, I can do two of the task but for entering the archery contest, once it begins the timer spins and spins and spins with no visuals.

I am not sure if I should let it spin indefinitely.

that is a bug.
using any mods?

console or PC?
may have a corrupt save. may have a patch bug still on console that was updated to latest patch on PC but still waiting on the console patch.
Just throwing out guesses.
