I know the feeling. I did something similar to an old truck I once had. It’s probably a large black cube now, and I’ll never forgive myself.
Pebbles threw me off her back multiple times. I hurried and traded her for Al-buraq. Now that’s a stallion. Never looked back. Though I really wanted Podagros, but merhojed never respawned their horses back after a certain quest.
I think Pebbles was old… Probably using him to teach new people how to ride.
Ouch. Yeah, I made sure to steal the worst horse when I was asked to do a bit of horse thievery for exactly that reason. I had to pay the stable master to even talk to me, but it let me get warhorse jenda with my money from selling stolen goods and I’ve not looked back.
I was very attached to Pebbles too. Pebbles was one of the main reason I fell in love with the game, Kingdom Come. Considered buying better horse many times but just didn’t have the heart to let go of pebbles. I felt so guilty. Then I had to trade pebbles in for a new horse because pebbles started throwing me off outside of combat. It was frequent and was becoming very irritating. I didn’t want to waste a perk on the one where “your horse never throws u outside of combat” cuz it doesn’t cost health or anything, it’s just annoying. and pebbles also stopped jumping over fences and started losing stamina faster. I recently traded Pebbles for Sleipnir in Uzhits (not the prettiest looking horse but good perks, Tier 5). The deciding factor was pebbles constantly throwing me off. But I still miss pebbles and feel like a horrible horse owner. Pebbles was both a gift and it was my first horsie. Hope her new owner treats her well! Sleipnir doesn’t throw me off, and has a higher weight capacity, speed and courage; jumps over big fences and doesn’t get scared of foes. Great companion so far. Farewell Pebbles!
At the start i bought Boxer from Neuhof. He is my main man now.
What do you mean? Is that a thing in the game?
Yes Necromancy was a thing in 1403
I accepted that quest about getting rid of a ghost or spirit in a butcher’s house. I left it incomplete (didn’t look for the Necronomicon “libre prohibite”). Now that I think about it, historically speaking, I know horses are known for detecting paranormal stuff. Also I did dug quite a few graves. Are you suggesting that doing that stuff is what caused pebbles to constantly throw Hentry off the horse? Cuz that would make sense. But then why is Sleipnir different. It’s a horse too.
No i dont think so.
When do you get thrown of? During gallop or?
If your on PC and want to save groshen, liked pebbles or the witcher 3, buy Gerald’s roach at tier 2 or keep Pebbles and get the mod " Pebbles is the best" on nexus mods ,select just pebbles version or the one that has pebbles and roach.
Install and watch what happens to them!
They then have the stats of the best of T5 horses.
they do not exceed the T5 stats tho.
My roach with mil-spec shoes and perk: racehorse gallops @67, 450 stamina, carries a crap load of stuff.
Pretty horses mod include I believe Cerillia horse kelpie too besides changing the color.
Today Sleipnir threw me off twice. I realized it may just be Henry smacking his head on to things while riding horses. Structures that aren’t high enough!
Yes that is a thing.
Especially if you gallop against roofs or low trees or ride under a structure you get knocked off. This is just physics.
Sleipnir is not to.blame
LOL! Neither was Pebbles It’s funny cuz they seem to go right through three stumps and walls sometimes. I was in Rattay today and I got off Sleipnir (on the main ground level) walked a few steps and heard Sleipnir walking. Turned around, and he was on top of the roof of a tower!
And warhorse says there is no magic!!!
Ive seen boxer(my horse) move and drink from the washing troughs in the city.
I never wash myself again in these things
Sleipnir’s armor changes colour.
Also, The forum is telling me I have replied to you too many times and so I’m not being very inclusive of others. So anyone else wants to chime in?
I’ve been somehow emotionally attached to Pebbles only untill the moment I found out he is immortal. I remember when he died first time in combat with cumans,I panicked. I was like WTF,what will I do now? How will I run from swarming cumans? I started to pray. Then I accidentaly pushed whistle button…and he was there again…smtg died inside me and I galloped directly to Neuhoff and bought Al-Buraq arab stallion.
It gets weirder my horses untill now change haircolour…
Ditched pebbles for Warhorse Jenda as soon as I could, have NEVER looked back.
