Trampling Deaths

OK, Ive trampled three people to death with my horse. The first time I had no idea what happened except the guards wanted to arrest me for murder. then I traveled along the route i took into Ledetchko, lo and behold there was a dead guard. The second time I was fist fighting a guard and he submitted to my superior striking skills. I then purposefully ran him over with my horse and killed him. The third time I was riding through Rattay and all of a sudden I hear “murder, there’s been a murder” Its kinda rough, since sometimes you cant help but bump into people in the city and all of a sudden your wanted for murder. I mean shit, if your that injured, hanging by a thread wtf are you doing out in public ffs.

A bit unrelated, but I’ve been noticing a lot of sick guards in the towns and cities. They stand stationary and clutch there stomach. I wonder what that’s from? Is it starvation or poisoning?

I find trampling to be very useful to even the playing field during random encounters :slight_smile:

Outside of combat, try not galloping in the middle of a busy townsquare. This should obviously fix your problem. Bumping someone at walking or trotting speed won’t kill or injure him.

Maybe I’m missing the irony, but they stand there injured because they’ve been hit by your galloping horse.

Ride over them one more time and they die.

It kills on canter to, I just found that out. It may even kill on trot if there injured enough.

Well they just need to move out my way don’t they. Ha ha, I really didn’t think that all the times I horse charged them accumulated. I was thinking they ate rotten food, lols. I only do it (trample) because the response makes me laugh, “learn how to ride a horse idiot!”

Actually after thinking about it, I don’t think that’s the case. I notice guards in particular walking around injured. I don’t recall seeing any citizens doing the same and i don’t particularly run over guards, I run over citizens as well. I assume the npc’s heal like the player. When a player sleeps he recovers health. I would think the same goes for npc’s. Also, it’s not like i run into the same guy over and over again till he dies. I am guessing the damage does not accumulate over days.

It happens to guards, bandits and wayfarers. Burghers, not sure.
