Hi, new to the game/forum.
I’ve been searching for what happens to equipment and experience one gets during alpha/beta when the game is up and running fully, is all reset or what?

As tech alpha is just a testing build for players to contribute to quality of the game .
It has no linkage to the final game othat than location and maybe some characters.
This all means that alpha is completely separate module from beta version and from the final game.
In other words you wont be transfering anything from alpha to beta or final game.
Transfering would make sense in MMO game, but as this is single player game it would make no sense for you to have some equipement or experience transfered.

The alpha is only a tech alpha, is the engine running on system x/y and testing some basic game mechanics nothing story or game related. In the beta you will play a small part of the story from the final game, i think i read from the middle part. So nothing you can transfere to the final game, you will start with “nothing” in the final game.
