So, I am wondering what I am looking for?

I have followed a map and found the area noted on the map but there is really nothing here of worth other than a ‘notable site’ is that all there is or should we expect to see a chest with loot in it?

Usually it seems to be a grave to dig up

Which treasure map is this? Take a screenshot and I’ll take a gander for you. There a many treasure maps.

It was Treasure map 12 and the first map I tried out. I found a sack with a necklace in it I assume this is the treasure since there is bog all else there but a humerus or two and a tree with shoes on.

I’ve only done 17 & 18 and the 5 dlc maps. Take a screenshot if you may so I can scout the area. Surely there is a grave you’re missing or something.

is it near the Rattay in the woods with a pond and burned house ?

It’s cool It wasn’t until I checked the necklace to see if it done anything or had a buff or something that I noticed the price. I’m pretty sure that is the treasure. It was in a sack and very well hidden.

So the dlc only give you the maps but you still can find the armour without it?

Not sure. It may be worth trying out if you know someone that is willing to share the maps with you. Assuming you don’t have the DLC.

Then No it must have been a different one because you could not get inside the burned house.

You can find the locations online. Found this out after I spent hours looking for em… lol

I’m sure someone will have leaked the locations. I wasn’t willing to leak this one because I bought it from the Rattay Miller.

Also not sure if the maps are available in game to non DLC holders.

Let’s say you don’t have the dlc and you watch a youtube video with the locations, can you still get the armour.

As I said you would either need to find someone willing to share the DLC maps (Youtube video or website) or someone without the DLC to try those locations for the treasure.

I would assume the treasure is part of the DLC and will not be there if you don’t have it.
