Well:
US Population: 324 mil | US-Mexico border length: 3.201 km
Isreaeli population: 8.5 mil | Israeli wall length: 810 km

So given the population count, it is ten times more difficult for Israel to finish its wall than for US to wall the border with Mexico.

Yeah, you are right, US is facing extremely easy odds compared to Israel as regards feasibility of the wall.

Please tell me more about the areas where natural barrier prevents illegals and migrants from crossing.

It’s more about cost … the us border with Mexico is not exactly flat terrain . It would cost an eye watering amount to wall the entire length

Notwithstanding, the per capita cost would be still much, much lower.

Somehow I fail to hear word ā€œfenceā€ anywhere.

Thanks for proving my point. I don’t think i have to point out the Geographical differences of those areas.

What do you want me to tell you? I would imagine cliffs or canyons would make it pretty hard to traverse. I used to watch a border show a lot and most of the crossings were happening within at least 50 miles of a major population area, places where the terrain is a lot more forgiving.

The major swarm that happened a few years back show hundreds of them crossing the Rio Grande in rafts and boats into a Texas park which was in the middle of a city.

I think we could cope with the cost, i think it might have to do more with the terrain in some areas. A good chunk of the border literally has nothing at all, not even that shitty barrier they currently have up.

Ive heard 20 billion dollar is what his proposed border would cost, which is nothing compared to how much the Federal government spends each year.

Walls still going to be built, he just said it might be a fence in some areas where a wall isn’t needed.

A fence would do fine for an area like this, since it’s unlikely anyone would try and cross here anyway.

What he’s proposing is completely reasonable, if a wall isn’t needed in certain areas then great, money, time and resources saved.

nothing more beautiful . like taking out the trash

This is interesting. If 2 Czechs who joined Kurdish forces and fought ISIS are terrorists according to the Turkish authorities, what does it make of Czech Republic, which donated Kurds tens of thousands of assault rifles, thousands RPGs and millions rounds of ammunition?

If Mexico is going to pay for it, what does it matter whether the workers are working for money or for less whips?
