Troll cave II

Low crime most places (inner cities aside) places like Chicago probably contributes two thirds of our annual murders(more people have been murdered there in the past 10 years, than troops killed in Afganistan). Those places are also gun free zones, and police wont police there because they get accused of racism.

The safest of places in UK would be considered quite dangerous by Czech standard and those Brits living there would still be better off than the safest people in US.

So please, again, do tell me.

why do we not have rampant bank robbings then ?

Anyway, gonna go to a gun shop tomorrow after work, to buy a red dot sight as a Christmas present for my girl.

Might even get a gun, but not too sure about that. Colt 1903 or CZ Scorp EVO 3 are primary targets.

I was thinking a bit about SOCOM rifle, but the price seems too steep.

ohh you big soppy romantic you

It kind of seems right to buy Swarowski optics and Swarowski neclase

Given that Swarowski ain’t making red dots
not sure if it makes sense to put scope on her 10.5’’ rifle.

Anyway I have also an extra semi-auto shotgun purchase permit that will run out at the end of February (they have year long validity). I will probably need to buy one just not to waste the €10 I put into the permit. Really not sure what to get.

What’s your take on SOCOM rifle?

I really like the looks of it but it seems that the same money could buy a proper sniper rifle

never fired one . closest ive fired would be a L129A1 sharpshooter rifle which is somewhat different but is designed to deal with similar engagements

lovely rifle but in no way does it replace a long range rifle . but if you have no experience with a long range sniper rifle then i would say if you have the funds its a good step towards increasing your marksmen ship at longer distances and working towards getting yourself a proper sniper rifle

Because you have rapid response units who are armed to the teeth? The rampant bank robbings prompted the creation of the FBI and heavily armed response units. The gang members usually had BARs and Thompson’s, while the police had nothing but pistols.

Like i said if someone wanted to rob a bank in a place like the U.K or U.S where police armed with military gear can be there in minutes they have to pay with their life.

Watch Public enemies, you’ll see what i mean.

Doubt it. Town i live sometimes has one murder a year, easy access to fire arms, and despite having fairly impoverished people, and tons of illegal immigrants. Unless you live in a black neighbourhood in an inner city, your chances of being murdered would be on European levels as you have pointed out before. Murders in Europe seem to be more evenly distributed, family members killing family members, while in the U.S it’s more centralised in the inner cities, that are on par with war zones due to gangs.

The way Europeans talk about America you would think the average person would have partaken in at least six shoot outs before their tenth birthday. As much as i wish things were that way , the only crime ive ever witnessed is some teenagers stealing candy from a gas station.

Also doesn’t your nation have a strong police force? I seem to recall you telling us about a city being locked down because of someone reporting that they heard gun shots.

But i guess in your world an America without a strong police force would not be total anarchy?

If someone is stupid enough to rob a bank in which these days very little money is kept then they deserve what they get so to answer my own question per say . The reason banks are not robbed rampant here is because not a lot of money is actually stored in them .

Get more out of a cash machine

So you don’t believe your armed response units have any deterrence affect at all? Regardless they certainly do in the U.S, the days of bank robbing ended when police started to be more heavily armed.

People like this guy were robbing banks left and right in the 30s because police were unable to stop them due to the weapons they were packing. Police started to arm in response and the FBI was allowed to police across state lines, and most of the gangsters ended up dead.

Effective police work can deter crime, maybe not petty crime, and your average murder as much but stuff like bank robbing, or robbing say a diamond store.

I’m not sure why me saying that is so controversial to you and @snejdarek.

Gotta love old Comrade Bernie.

I read an article some time ago in which G4S chief was saying that their operations in UK and France are under a level of threat they are not facing anywhere in the developed world. Robberies taking place much more often than elsewhere, with perps often being armed (while the guards cannot be).

What I was referring to that the strong police force US style seems to be quite a failure as regards tackling crime.

We don’t have “lockdowns” the way you imagine them, just streets swarmed with cops with SBRs in case there are shots fired.

Why should I pay for streets if I donÂŽt have a car, or why should I pay money for the military if I am a pacifist?
The state is forcing me to do it. Or if I have a car, I donÂŽt want that policemen are getting paid from my money if they give me a ticket because of speeding, and why can they do this anyway? If the street is empty I want to drive fast.
And why do I have to fear go to prison for smoking weed? Who do I harm to with this one?
