Finally got my veteran in eternal crusade.
shit, this looks really cool. Though I fear @Wenceslaus wont appreciate it⦠filthy Eldar scum
The only thing that looks different about the Eldar veterans are their slightly glowing eyes.
Train strike as in someone got hit by a train, or the workers are striking?
Station workers are striking over staff shortages
Well Iād say that the 21 years Breivik got is even better example.
Talk of the devilā¦
Yeah compare that to the sentence the guy who shot up the theater here got.
Youāre a lawyer right? Why do they add extra life sentences?
āHe is held in isolation in a three-cell complex where he can play video games, watch TV and exercise.ā
Seriously? He gets fucking TV and video games?
So @TheDivineInfidel, you heard about that Brit bong who was sentenced for a year in prison for putting bacon on the door handles of a mosque, and who has now died in prison?
A migrant who raped a 12 year old girl was sentenced to the same amount of time. It seems your nations crime system is only hard on gun owners, and people who offend Muslims.
We donāt have that system here.
But if I were to guess Iād say it has something to do with providing justice to each victim plus to a society as a whole.
Yeah, but apparently only older Playstation which is part of his suit.
Also, you have to consider the parole options. As far as I understand they hand a lot of life sentences in UK, but then they let the fuckers out after serving a dozen years. Maybe @thedivineinfidel will correct me?
Here life is always āeligible for paroleā not sooner than 20, and the only people who get parole are rapist-killers who meanwhile had their sacks cut off and are thus presumed neutralized.
wasnt aware he died but yes i had heard about the case .
your system does not work either though , where as Norway for example ā¦
. The US has one of the highest: 76.6% of prisoners are re-arrested within five years.
some people yes are past the point of return but i think the vast majority of people who end up in prison for robbery , drugs etc (lesser crimes than rape and murder ) are simply people who have made some very poor choices and found themselves at the bottom of a deep hole and can with the right support and effort be made into perfectly good citizens and can go on to have a successful life .
i also found his sentence low but as this article seems to suggest .
Overall, Norwegians, even some parents who lost children in the attack, seemed satisfied with the sentence, The New York Times reported. Still, Breivikās sentence, as is, put him behind bars for less than 100 days for every life he took, as The Atlantic noted. On the other hand, if the system doesnāt determine Breivik ārehabilitated,ā he could stay in prison forever.
there is every chance he could spend the rest of his days inside prison
nope you are correct . i believe the European court of human rights stops us from giving actual life sentences without a chance of parole . but to answer your point . if you kill someone you will likely get life which is 25 years but in reality your looking at 12-15 years with good behaviour.
Also an element of how the murder was carried out . The less humane the heavy the sentence and the less chance of early release .
Iād prefer the way we deal with murders to your nation or Norway any day. The idea that a man can go and murder and be out in 7 years is utterly absurd.
Iāll direct you to a comment i found on that article about the Pakistani murder who was let out of prison after 7 years and then proceeded to try and murder two of your police officers.
European nations for the most part border rich, 1st world nations. Look at the sky rocketing crime rates in Europe now due to massive migration of third worlders. Something the U.S has been dealing with for over 100 years.
If someone is re arrested for committing the same crime, that is their fault not the systems. You clearly treat people like children in Britain, when in reality you should treat them like the adults they are, and have them face the consequences of their actions.
I personally donāt think the majority of Drug users should be in prison to begin with. As for murders, i think most deserve life in prison ( i believe there are some exceptions, like a fight gone wrong). You can have your hippy dippy method of giving murders lollipops and a pat on the back, but i prefer a system where murders stay locked up.
And last point, that article is total horse shit. Damn right Americans think someone who murdered 80 fucking people deserves life in prison, and the that most Europeans donāt seem to think so is quite sickening.
If you think someone like Brevik deserves a second chance, god help you people in the coming years with the migrants youāre getting.
Well my god looks like heās going full starlin on this shit
