Good to see your two nations have always bonded through faggotry.
The prime minster is apparently tomorrow (Tuesday ) going to confirm that we will in fact be leaving the single market
Well it was pretty clear that there will be no free movement of goods and services without free movement of labor.
They great thing is that the falling pound will protect your industry and boost exports.
The most interesting thing will be to see how the parts of industry that got used to have interconnected supply chain in numerous countries will fare with that (I used to manufacture electrical wiring for Jaguar during one summer break a decade ago⌠and that factory is now in Romania because the highest unemployment level county in the Czech Republic was apparently too expensive for that production).
Also the reaction of the City will be interesting to see - because May will never have them in line following orders the way Merkel does have car makers.
She just confirmed we will indeed leave the single market and just as she did this happened âŚ
But as I say before value of the pound isnât that relevant but itâs stole that line form the remainers anyway
This is outcome of the fact that after several months it finally seems that there is some comprehension beyond âBREXIT MEANS BREXITâ at the Downing street.
However once the real meaning of that sinks down the value of pound will sink with it. And Euro, to a smaller extent, probably too.
BTW, according to official data, 8% of British population are foreigners. Here it is roughly 5% with nobody really giving two fucks about it.
What was THE breaking point for UK on this?

Well it seems that most immigrants choose to go to London, while your immigrants might be more spread out amongst your cities. No idea if thatâs true or not, but if it is that would definitely make the Brits feel more overwhelmed with immigration, especially since theyâre having over crowding issues.
Iâm also willing to bet most of that 8% migrated there in a very short amount of time.
That doesnât answer my question though. If London was getting a ton of immigrants and Brits who lived outside of it watched the cities demographics transform, then that would probably influence their vote.
Well that is a weird thing to say given that those who lived with the foreigners voted overwhelmingly to remain. (foreigners do not get to vote).
But isnât there a significant amount of immigrants (British citizens) who live in London? I thought the main demographic of London was no longer ethnic Britions.
Well that might be true but the way Brits are just handing out citizenships like a fucking candy has nothing to do with the EU.
And as I said, it is shaping nicely as election issue.
It wonât be long before BabiĹĄ will have to break silence on the topic, and my guts tell me he will go in line with popular opinion, and consequently put in line his own ministers (or silence them).
Do not forget that BabiĹĄâ family was target of prepared kidnapping plot with perpetrators deciding not to go through with it only because of his armed security - something he would not be able to have in many European states. I suppose deep within he must appreciate the current Czech gun legislation.
Here is an interesting interview. The first slightly positive news about the constitutional amendment since its announcement. A deputy minister from the ministery of defense suggests they are willing to debate about it. Considering the previous strong opposition from them (problably the strongest of all ministries), itâs rather surprising. And although he is actually a socialist, itâs fair to assume the stance he presented as an official is representative of his boss - Stropnicky, which in turn can be viewed as first indication of ANOâs opinion on this matter.
And funny thing is how the journalist has totaly opposite experience to yours @snejdarek, as she claims she couldnât find anyone who supports the amendment except for gamekeepers.
