i didnt really answer this due to not really being able to explain it in a way that would make sense to many people not from the UK . however ive just seen this on skynews and i think it will go someway in explaining why many here feel the way they do .
the reason why london voted remain was because its a business city , a finance city . immigration is very good for these business , its very good for my business as well . many of my work related friends were shocked to find out i was voting to leave . they often told me i was nuts that if the predictions were true i could lose 40% off the value of my assets , so many in london voted with their business heads . where as many who voted to leave voted with their hearts and patriotic beliefs as damn right cringy that sounds .
although the predictions have not come true and now many people in london would prefer a hard brexit due to being half in half out could really fuck the shit out of us . business people dont enjoy to much risk , brexit is a very big risk . not so much of a risk for the people who already have nothing however
