No, here they are independent. The Minister of Interior appoints the Police President, but he can’t give him any orders - that would be criminal. Let’s say that order to let people fight each other on the streets would not fly well with them.

What you call “internal affairs” is here a completely different Bureau that is answerable to the Prime Minister.

See, there goes your problem.

This completely unthinkable here. It is on par with 300 rapes in Koln in a single night and police and newspapers writing that “new year’s eve was peaceful” and year later there being not a single conviction.

you have likely never had a proper riot involving thousands of thugs . the ones in london there were a few occasions the police chose to drive the thugs into the town centre right under all the CCTV cameras .

By doing this yes the thugs smashed the shit out of the surrounding shops , but the police were able to position reinforcements to prepare to stop it all together and the CCTV was able to photo each and every looter . in which they did . resulting in the UK courts working 24/7 for a period of time prosecuting every individual with video evidence .

so yes while it would be brilliant to have enough police to stop however many thousands of people are looting its sometimes simply impossible when it was happening all over the country . Which was why they were exploring the idea of deploying the military .

surely its commonsense that when you are dealing with a huge number looters or protesters the first port of call is to contain them to a single area allowing you to effectively stop it .

my lord

Well we had with thousands, but those were Nazis trying to storm gypsy part of town, and the police contained it.

There were “UK type” of riots in Slovakia several years back when the government cut state welfare and it didn’t fare well with local gypsy population.

But no, “looting events” don’t happen here. Even when there is local law enforcement shut down during major flooding, the few looters that abuse the situation happen to be crossborder hopping from Poland or Slovakia.

we get quite a few of them but they normally start as protests that the police are aware of so have enough resources already in place so it never really gets very far . Ones they attempt to do in secret are normally found out as the police and intelligence agencies watch these groups pretty closely so again the police are normally in position waiting for the idiots .

the ones in 2011 shocked the entire country because we also dont really get them . which meant our police were completely unprepared for such events on such a scale as facebook was allowing huge riots to be organised within less than an hour in basically every city across the UK .

so it took a day of riots for the police to get their act together. …all over some thug being shot by police

Oh, Lord Pence deliver us!

Well, it turns out the mayor of Berkeley is a member of an Antifa group, (at least on Facebook). This just keeps getting more interesting.

Well to be honest it might work the same way here, I just assumed the mayor would have control.

Regardless the chief of police is going along with the stand down orders. Both should be fired and charged. Ann coulter is supposed to speak at Berkeley soon, and I guess she hired black water as private security, so I doubt Antifa will have the balls to try anything.

Most Indian problem ever.

Huh… who would have thought…

Things like these make me wonder whether you are really on the right track:

Does Ivanka love the EU or something?

Is US export to the rest of the EU several times larger than to UK or something?

It was a joke. Aimed at the fact that it seems he’s more than willing to flip on positions if his daughter and son and law want him to.

Bombing Syria was flipping position.

“UK at the end of the line” is coming to senses really, probably someone explained to him that EU is much larger trading partner.

Fucks given ? None

What am I looking at exactly?

What I meant is that I am not sure what the post you shared is referring to, since April data seem to be lower than March in the sources I’ve found.

Otherwise, good for you. Maybe if pound sinks another 20% you will really be able to substitute most of the EU exports by exports to third countries.
