No because there is a singular continent called Europe. If Europe were split into say two continents East and West Europe, then just calling your self “European” would likely get you associated with the USE. But since the continent of Europe has existed for thousands of years prior to this USE being formed, the name European would not automatically get associated with it.

And given the topic of our conversation - what I personally consider sad is what a gun instructor told my sister - that she is an exception in that most women he has taught got to get a gun only after something bad happening to them, including cases of rapes. Well, at least they realized there is a way to equalize the playing field and minimize their chances of being victimized ever again. Too bad they felt so safe before it happened to them that they did not feel the need.
whatever helps a person sleep at night i guess . i feel no requirement to carry a gun . i live in a pretty middle class area which is maybe why . maybe id feel differently if i lived on a social housing estate . My fiance couldnt even name a gun let alone have any interest in carrying one nor does she feel unsafe or the need too . i think that would also cover most cases of western women.
i would prefer the UK to have more relaxed laws on firearms but merely because i enjoy guns . It was one of the main reasons i joined the military and i spent 12 years being around them everyday but do i need one on my hip going to the shops in my home town…not personally .
