“Expressions of hatred toward someone on account of that person’s colour, race, disability, nationality (including citizenship), ethnic or national origin, religion, or sexual orientation is forbidden”

Case closed. If you want to deny your own laws, go ahead.

I hear the rumour is if needed the banks will open a small branch in a EU state but keep the staff in the UK .this would allow them to legally operate within the single market the same as they do now without the cost and hassle of completely shifting abroad

Not really if you can’t bet on getting the EU workers to man the EU banking connected jobs.

The future leftists and cuckservatives want for America.

#makeamericamexicoagain

lets be realistic here @snejdarek i dont think it will be hard to fill well paying banking jobs in Frankfurt , do you ?

Also if they cant fill a few token positions what chance do they have of hiring the thousands of replacement staff to take over from the hundreds of thousands currently employed in London ?

Blumpf is done.

You are forgetting that large number of those are EU citizens to whom your government offered very limited possibility of staying. Getting 5 year deal is fine if you just finished school and are looking for a first position, not when you want to plan your life.

Given how much higher wages for these positions are in the city of London compared to Paris or Frankfurt I would not expect that to be a large issue.

Moreover mainland EU banks have been for the past ten years moving large part of their banking servicing jobs eastwards to the Czech Republic and Poland (my sister started working for KBC in the Czech Republic and now works directly for the mother company), which means that on one hand they may re-recruit thousands in Western Europe and on the other they have abundance of fresh talent here that is looking for opportunity to be promoted from their Czech/Polish salary to Brussels/Frankfurt/Paris salary.

i saw that video and i must comment i have never seen a stranger method of sipping water .

Bankers will have no issue getting permanent residence in the UK . As would any high skilled/payed worker . its the beauty of a proper immigration policy.

dont for a second think they would offer the same wages for a Frankfurt worker as they would a London worker . the Same way they would not offer the same money to Manchester based workers . Londoners are paid high because living expenses are much higher .

what Frustrates me the most about our negotiation strategy is we dont seem to be taking advantage of the fact that financially we have the upper hand in the negotiations. The EU needs that big lump of cash from us to be able to pay for all its plans , if it doesn’t get it , you as a Czech tax payer will have to fund that hole . The EU is being extremely clever in their efforts to get us to commit to paying up before the real negotiations begin , once we pay up the Eu doesnt have to gve up any ground at all they will have won .

We need to be stronger and commit to giving nothing until a favourable free trade deal is drafted up . The EU is bluffing us and its appear to my frustration to be working . Make no mistake however if we walk away with no deal there is a very large hole in the EU’s Budget .

Late night comedians have truly been broken by Trump. He lives rent free in their heads.

Definitely warrants major news headlines. Not his long trip to Asia, or any number of big events going on in the world right now.

These are the same people who bitch when they get called fake news.

He is the one who made sipping water fair game when he opened on Rubio. It’s this hypocrisy that is now haunting him back, not the sipping of water itself.

The thing is that you have already committed to paying that sum up in the making of the EU 2014-2020 budget. Now you want to pull out of that obligation.

The other possibility would be for EU to cut a number of its programs. But then suddenly EU would lose half its importance on the ground, which is something that Brussels won’t allow to happen.

You are wrong. The EU’s policy on this is driven mainly by Germany and they do deeply believe that it is a matter of principle. Principle of adhering to the EU principles, because else it is war and concentration camps (as the official EU propaganda tells us and many in Germany deeply believe).

It’s a moral Obligation however nothing more . Legally speaking we owe nothing .

Indeed no British money would give them
The option of either a political crisis or a financial one .

The Germans have actually softened their tone in recent weeks as the possibility of us pulling out of talks begun to set in .

That’s like saying that paying taxes is moral obligation. You joined a club and as a part of it you signed up to 6 years funding of that club. Now you want to pull out midway, which is fair, but you need to settle the bill for full period first. Sadly, there was no clause in the budget regarding pulling out halfway through and cash rebate.

I don’t know about rest of Europe but here in the Czech Republic the EU cohesion policy as well as agricultural funding is seen as deeply unpopular. Yes, we take the money as long as it is on the table, but we would grab the chance to change the system by the balls.

Or at least we would have done that a year ago. Now we are set to get a prime minister whose businesses are addicted to EU money.

You are mistaking Germans taking back seat in a car that is heading in the same direction with Germans softening up.

It’s not because I’m legally obliged to pay tax. We are not legally obliged to pay a membership fee to the EU .

Do your country take more than it pays to the EU ?

The Germans do not want trade barriers with us . They won’t allow it to happen .

“Opened up on Rubio” he made a joke at one of his rallies towards a political opponent. The “media” (and i use that word very sarcastically) should be presenting relevant objective factual information, not acting like they’re political opponents of the president during a campaign, even though they very much are his political opponents.

Putting out stupid headlines like this when there is plenty of relevant news to cover, is why they’re called fake news.
