I would not put the Czech Republic as a shining example in these matter, but if you take a look at our last presidential elections, you can see that there were more than few with a real running chance.
I agree with you. We go from one extreme to another.
Before WW2 we had the most war ready army in Europe, but were overwhelmed by the sheer number of German, Polish and Hungarian Units.
By the time communism fell we had one of the largest armies in the world, well equipped and ready for the doomsday WW3 event (kind of North Korea but with up-to-date equipment).
Then it seemed that there is no enemy anywhere in sight so it all got scratched.
When Russia has started its military build-up we didn’t pay particular attention, now that they stated occupation of part of 3rd country in a row, we are getting worried but still fall short behind what needs to be done as regards this issue. Too bad that elections will be next year, since military spending would be an important issue already now.

Yeah the two party system is definitely fucked, and sadly no one realises that when you get high enough up the Republicans and Democrats are the same, both of them are responsible for fucking this country up. That’s actually a big part of the reason Trump is so popular, he’s an outsider that both parties utterly despise.
Luckily this race third parties are becoming more and more popular, so hopefully in 2-3 elections we will have the first non Democrat or Republican in over 150 years, but that is being highly optimistic.

I do not expect them to arrive suddenly one day with tanks - not again. And Guerrilla warfare is really the last point - I hope it won’t get to it. But right, at least on principle it is not bad idea. It is just not that common here - though something is changing, at least around me, and more people bought pistol. I would. I wasn’t really fan of what we had there as for what I heard it was kinda pointless. But otherwise I think that basic military training is good.
So the Milsurp Galils are no beauty queens that laid in Israeli warehouses (the way the Czech milsurp vz.58 are), but to the contrary - carried a lot with no saying how much shot they were. Even though there seems to be nothing wrong with it (just scratches from carrying) and there is 2 yrs warranty, I am tending toward new CZ Scorp EVO 3 or SBR AR 15 instead. Yes but third party support is much higher than it was in the 2004,2008, and 2012 elections. The internet is really helping the third party candidates, because they can actually get their names and ideas out there. The only reason Ross Perot (third party runner in the first Clinton election) got so much publicity, was because he was a Clinton plant, and his only purpose was to split the Republican vote.
Plus both Bernie Sanders (lost the Democrat primary to Hillary) and Ted Cruz ( lost the Republican primary to Trump) have discussed running as third parties.
Don’t know about Perot, but I can’t help but think that Trump is a Clinton plant.

Used to think the same thing myself actually, since Trumps rise to popularity was similar to Perots, and Trump has had a some what friendly relationship with the Clinton’s in the past even donating money to them at one point. I could never figure out what he could possibly gain from it though, the man is already a multi billionaire.
Anyway, my first choice Rand Paul dropped out, and i started defending Trump more and more because of the blatant lies slander from the press, and at this point Trump is really my only choice, and if he is who he says he is then i think it’s a good choice even if i don’t agree with everything he says, certainly better than Hillary Clinton. If Clinton gets in bye bye 2nd amendment as America knows it.

She would have utterly destroyed Ted Cruz, or any other Republican candidate. Trump actually has a better chance of beating her, because hes not that religious like most Republican leaders, and he is actually more of a centrist then a Republican.
